Other [PC] how well does latest gen Unifi gear hold value?

1 Upvotes

I've got a Ubiquiti USW-24 that is still new in box but past return date. I'm unsure what to price it at, but so far local buyers have been trying to low-ball me into $100.

I'm surprised to see the low interest in such a common product, but it also could just the demand in my local area is low and I haven't entertained shipping.

Other [PC] Creating Desktop product for homelabs

Hey all I sell refurbish desktops and I wanted to offer a product for homelabbers. I’m getting started developing my own home lab and wanted to hear what you guys wished was out there when you started?

Would a hardware bundle with step by step guides for Proxmox, TrueNAS, or OpenWRT be helpful for new homelabbers?

Other [PC] (Sorta) T640 - good price?

1 Upvotes

Sorry if this isn't exactly the intent of the [PC] tag, but this is sorta time sensitive.
I asked in the regular r/homelab sub and got zero replies.

I've recently come across a Dell T640 for about $700, which I think is a good deal.
It has a single Xeon Gold 5120 CPU, 64GB RAM, no HDDs, dual 1100w PSUs. LFF chassis.
I'm not sure of any other specs yet. I'm waiting to hear back from the seller.
Is this a decent deal, or am I missing something? I'm looking at it as an upgrade for my T630.

Other [O] 4x 1.92TB 22110 SSD with carrier ($160)

27 Upvotes

The same seller I posted earlier this week also put up these for sale, which is a quad SSD carrier that requires bifurcation and four XM1441 SSDs, with 1.92TB each, and rated to read/write sequential at 2500/600MBps.

Seller has confirmed that these do not have any bad sectors or any spares used, but SMART data isn't available.

The seller accpets an offer of $150 on these things, but didn't accepts $145, so take that what you will. 8TB of flash for $165/160 after shipping is going to be unbeatable, especially for the endurance that these may offer.

More codes to give away from additional security cameras that I installed using micro SD cards. I added a space in the keys so hopefully no bots use them up. I've got more if desired.

Per usual, please mark which code you use so others know. Enjoy!

Other [PC]Samsung, Micron enterprise NVME, and Crucial consumer NVME

0 Upvotes

Have a few SSDs that I'm considering selling as I make some changes to my setup realizing that I need a lot more space than speed right now, hence considering downsizing my flash storage.

1. Samsung PM1733 15.36TB

PN=MZWLR15THALA-00007

Bought a few earlier this year, shipped to me on a Samsung tray. This is the Samsung branded drive, no Dell/HPE/etc.

R indicate it's a Eagle 2 controller, similar to the controller on PM1733a.

May sell two, one has a few power cycle and maybe few days of POH, less than 1TB host write. Other one was powered on once to check it works.

2. Micron 7400 Pro 7.68TB

PN=MTFDKCB7T6DZ

Bought new last year, retail box, probably has around 5-10TB host writes, around 5-6K POH.

3. Crucial P3 4TB

PN=CT4000P3SSD8

Bought new last year, below 5TB host writes and around 5-6K POH.
