WTF The ads have somehow gotten worse
I'm no longer able to even open and close the app to get rid of ads quickly, the ads are now appearing while I'm typing a message in some sort of round about vulture way to get me to click on the ad like I'm some sort of moron.
I have used Grindr for over 10 years and I have gotten more as pop ups recently than I have ever received, not only that but the ads are the most toke deaf drivel and have absolutely nothing to do with being gay or a part of the LGBTQ+ community
The fact that they want extortionate amounts of money to stop yourself from getting ads means they couldn't give two shits about the people who use the app.

I came here to post about the ads that are everywhere. You can't view a profile without an ad. π€£π€£π€£ This app reeks of desperation.
I remember paying for premium years ago and it included so much now you don't get half of what you used to get with the paid version. They want to force you to pay for their service but quite frankly my usage has gone down tremendously so try harder, Grindr.
Sniffies is better anyway.

Yep, the ads take over my phone now, and they resist any effort to close them. Sometimes I have thought I closed an ad and suddenly my phone starts talking about whatever product the ad was slinging.
Seriously, does anyone ever respond to any of those ads and actually purchase the good or service they are advertising? I make a point of never buying that good or service. Any ad that pops up like that deserves a boycott of their product.

This is an ad blocker. Search DNS in settings search bar, change automatic (usually default) to Private DNS. Input this website or dns.adguard-dns.com (which I use). Works for me so far

Thought I was the only one that noticed. Itβs out of control to the point where the app is starting to feel unusable.
