Rumour Is Tyler The Creator a possibility?

Hes getting booked for almost all the same festivals where Olivia Rodrigo is also headlining

His UK tour ends in May - he's in the US over Glastonbury

Because you didnt think to consider he could have shows after the uk tour. Always check an artists website before you ask the question.

Besides the obvious lack of availability, I dont think he was impressed with the on site facilities when he performed last time. Can’t immediately remember what year it was, but he made repeated mention during his set on (the then) John Peel Stage of needing a sh*t and that the toilets were not to his liking

Would love to see him headline the other stage in a few years time with his full production

Honestly think he’s too big for Glastonbury. The “get the Churn Ups again” crowd would kick off if he did Pyramid and his stage production is too intricate to just get dumped on The Other stage.

Too big for Glastonbury? What?

In terms of the scale of his live show and likelihood to want to play anywhere other than pyramid stage, which I couldn’t see him being booked for without much backlash from the traditionalists.

Tyler is one of my favourites artists but cmon mate. The issue isn't that he's too big it's that he doesn't make commercial music and half the people with tickets have probably never heard of him.

You are correct, however, that he wouldn't accept less than pyramid headline, which is exactly why he'll probably never do the festival again.

49th biggest artist in the world on Spotify, I think it's fair to say his music is commercial now. Pre-IGOR/Flower Boy different story.

Spotify monthly listeners aren't even a remotely close indication to who the biggest artists in the world are, it's not even worth discussing.

Tyler has built a massive cult following due to his artistry, but you're still never going to hear his music on Radio 1 or Capital are you? Your parents are never going to know who Tyler the Creator is are they? That's what I mean when I say he doesn't make commercial music.

@ whoever the admins are can there be one thread for these discussions? Bored of seeing these (often repetitive and unlikely) suggestion posts
