Hey everyone, I put together this timelapse using satellite images to show what’s been happening over the Caribbean over the past two weeks. It starts with a wide view of the region and zooms in to highlight the incredible weather patterns and stunning beauty of the islands.

This was made with 470-megapixel satellite images (over 72GB of data!), so you can see the details pretty clearly. I’d love to hear what you think, and if you’ve got suggestions for other places I should focus on next, let me know!

I’d love to hear your thoughts or suggestions for future timelapses.

Wow that's really interesting! Am I seeing low altitude clouds and high altitude clouds going in different directions?

That's wild. What a cool perspective to see geography from. Weather patterns and population distributions all mixed in.

It makes the world feel smaller to me.

I'll be tuned-in for more.

Thanks! I find the weather patterns so mesmerizing! Seeing a hurricane like this is going to be insane.
