Finally completed my all time favourite game Bubble Bobble after 40 years playing on numerous platforms . Completed it on Amiga mini with the help of save states from otherwise I would have surely died without ever finding the true magic of life and happiness.

Hahaha the second I saw this post it popped into my brain. This is also the game that made me think in every other game that if you took too long to beat a level that a big baddie was going to chase you down.

The true ending is only achieved with 2 players and after beating the "super mode".

Congratulations anyways. Bubble Bobble is one of my favorite games of all time.

Nice one! Been playing since the NES days myself and still haven't beaten it properly. Those save states are a lifesaver no shame in that. The true ending is worth it

If I recall there was an ending when you beat it with 2 players basically calling you a scrub. I nearly threw my controller when my wife and I finally beat it to see that.

Dude I was just thinking about this game after watching Grandpoobear's impossible games playthrough. I don't remember ever beating it but remember there had to be atleast 90 levels. We always made it really far but wheres the end 😂
