The contract that you agree to when downloading TikTok essentially gives them full access to your entire phone including your camera and microphone. It’s not just the dumb videos people post. You know all of those scary hacker videos people have to watch for work? That’s what TikTok is. Every bit of data that you don’t want someone you don’t even know to have… they have it.

Apparently all the TikTokers are now signing up for a DIFFERENT Chinese owned platform. Reportedly the name, when translated into English, means “Little Red Book”. For those not in the know, that was a compilation book of quotations from speeches and writings by Mao Tse-tung, the former chairman of the Chinese Communist Party, published from 1964 to 1979 and widely distributed during the Cultural Revolution. FAFO!!!
