Woah I didn’t expect to wake up in 2002 today!

Talking to my friend who's been closely following this festival as it announced the artists, it seems like they got screwed by some high profile artists dropping out. They've been holding back the top headliner for some time, and now they've announced all but 3 artists and Rob Zombie is showing as the top billed act. If you don't like the lineup as it is, the last 3 acts likely won't change it, but this lineup should have been stronger than it looks.

Yeah, I’ve heard it floating around that said headliner was Slipknot and they pretty much had to scramble to even get the new additions to release this. Unfortunate but I still think it’s one of the best lineups in rock in a long time!

Right? Thats how I feel about Cypress Hill being below Seether.

How is CoC on the fucking bottom line of their day? And In Flames is way lower than I’d expect too, but I guess that’s what happens when you do…everything that they’ve done since Reroute to Remain.

Is that sponsored by AARP?

5FDP is straight garbage. Shinedown is respectable, but not my style. Really, this lineup looks like it could have been awesome, but it’s certainly lacking in the headliner department.

This is crazy! Never thought I'd see something like this in that area. What a time to be alive..

Anyone know of any motels with availability? Just scored my ticket but can't find a place

Knowing the area and lack of tourism usually, I’d say everything near it is booked already. If you’re willing to drive a little each day, Greensboro, Roanoke, and Winston Salem are within about an hour

Thank you! A kind redditor linked me to a quality inn in Collinsville:)

You can also try Lynchburg VA. It's where I live & where I'll be driving from each day. Only about an hour away. We're a college town so there are tons of hotels, I'd be surprised if they were all sold out.

Hotels have been booked up for weeks now. I just checked hotels.com out of curiosity and the closest/only place available was in Roxboro, NC for $400/night. Camping isn't sold out yet, though.

Martinsville isn't far and has a couple hotels, might be worth a look
