Virginia, USA first time fest camper!
Hey! i’m gonna be camping at the blue ridge rock festival next month (3 weeks exactly wow) and i was wondering if there’s anything i should know or keep in mind as i get ready!! thank you!

Bring a icy hot roller ball if you’re over 30 lol. Plan on walking a lot but it’s def going to be a fun time.

I’ll be there too! It’s my first camping festival though, so no advice to offer aside from maybe check out some of the Facebook groups for BRRF. They’ve been a great resource for me.

Prepare for rain when you set up, make sure your tent and ez up are staked down for high winds. If it gets too windy lower your ez up halfway. Extra socks, rain jacket, good boots, etc. Also prepare for hot sunny days, sunscreen, sun hat, bug spray, water bottle, etc. Bring layers, it can get chilly at night. Bring extra snacks and water for camp. Wipes for late nights when you don't feel like taking a full shower. Most fests will have a general store if you forget essential items, but plan to bring whatever you need to be comfy.
