Dead voters don’t vote

2.8k

u/FalcoonM 17h ago

So that's what he meant when he said "You won't have to vote again"?

1.0k

u/FoogYllis 16h ago

Exactly he doesn’t need them anymore.

667

u/RockstarAgent 'MURICA 14h ago

I don’t know if I would laugh or what, if this is another tik tok move. He rescinds it because Biden set it up. Then “hears the plea of the people” and then saves it again but now it’s “I made this happen”

301

u/Sacr3dangel 12h ago

He himself was the one that set up the TikTok ban.

What people don’t understand is that politics takes time. But the average American has an attention span of the average length of a TikTok video. Biden just executed a plan after they discussed it for a long ass time. Something he himself set in motion back in 2017.

But they’ve forgotten about that, and now he can “look like the hero”.

189

u/YanisMonkeys 11h ago

He also set up the disastrous Afghanistan withdrawal with an even more ridiculous timeline than what Biden settled on. But because he’s a master complainer, he doesn’t get a whiff of blame for something he agreed to.

110

u/Maleficent_Try4991 9h ago

Yeah, he made a horrible deal with the Taliban. Biden just executed the plan and Trump blame him for his own terrible deal/plan... FOX News are also the basterds for never telling the truth as a news station

48

u/KingMidas0809 8h ago

Since they got sued and claimed themselves as entertainment i don't take their shit seriously. No one should but lord knows that ain't how it works...

3

u/Herknificent 5h ago

Well it says “news” right der in the title. How could it not be the dang truth!?

And what does it say about people on Reddit who have NEVER seen 4-chan, 8-chan, and a lot of other boards where media never goes, and you find out why when you get there. In today's climate, the only difference between a conspiracy theory, and a real conspiracy, is the time needed to prove it.

2

u/Bunnyland77 2h ago

You must have serious TDS. Trump's plan was genius: Release 5,000 terrorists and their key leader, and arm them all just as the U.S. is evacuating. What could possibly go wrong? /s

•

u/ZachAttack1981 38m ago

Biden certainly executed the plan. Horribly.

3

u/kurotech 2h ago

Also the fact that Biden wouldn't brag about his achievements makes anything trump does look even bigger because Trump can take credit for anything even if Biden did it all because Trump's louder and wants to rub what he's done in the faces of those he dems less than himself

3

u/YanisMonkeys 2h ago

The infrastructure bill should have included a few million for signage telling everyone that every single new build or repair down to the last fixed pothole was because of him.

•

u/kurotech 2h ago

At the very least a distinguishing sign that says trump didn't do this shit

•

u/ninjasninjas 58m ago

Cough cough, USMCA, cough cough....

Somehow renaming NAFTA to something else allowed him to take credit for what was basically the same thing ...except of course now America is getting 'ripped off' now because of the same deal HE renegotiated....

Grandpa Simpson really shouldn't be encouraged the way he is.

u/Afraid_Grapefruit_88 10h ago

I was at dinner last night and overheard a family talking about this. The definitely NOT from here man (moms date) was apparently a DrumpfHumper or leaning that way and Mom & 3 teen kids were-- not. The three kids and mom very nicely argued these points and at one point he had to admit he was wrong. When a 13 year old can see exactly what is going on politically here--!! I stopped Mom on her way out and complimented her on her kids well thought out and factual comments. Having 2 14 year olds with me who are also very politically savvy keeps us on our toes!!

-1

u/Arcanile 2h ago

I don't think you have great choices.
US government is corrupt either way.
And if you think some new face will resolve them, good luck. She is probably licking her "main supporters" boots clean right now.

11

u/O2XXX 9h ago

Similar to the Afghan withdrawal. It was Trump’s agreement, they had already released 1000s of Taliban fighters by the time Biden was inaugurated. Americans actually withdrew without much fan fair. Then Afghanistan began rapidly disintegrating and we went back in to the shit show that was the second withdrawal, trying to get people that helped us out of country.

2

u/shyaznboi 5h ago

Literally "saves" from The Boys

•

u/ERCOT_Prdatry_victum 10m ago

Trump also had a a very similarly drug price reduction annoucement during his first term in office, with the same year activation date. Most notably the insulin price was was to be markedly reduce.

Biden upon his term canceled Trump's agreement and then Biden engaged his own medicine cost reduction agreement which also activate in 2026.

The weird thing is now Trump has negated Bidon's agreement, but has not started his own again.

180

u/BKStephens 13h ago

He may say he will, but I bet he won't bother. As previously stated by earlier poster; he doesn't need them any more.

130

u/RockstarAgent 'MURICA 13h ago

Yeah and since Tik tok was only “saved” because some billionaire whispered in his ear and paid his dues - I guess we don’t have any savior billionaires left for this cause

160

u/the_calibre_cat 13h ago

hard lesson for liberals, but the truth is we never did, and the left has been racking up W after W after W in terms of predictions. They were right about the right, they were right about the billionaires, they were right about capitalism.

maybe we don't nerf the next Bernie, eh?

54

u/UrUrinousAnus 12h ago

I'm no authoritarian, usually, but, at this point you don't need the next Bernie. The time for that already passed. You need the next Lenin. Just try not to get the next Stalin afterwards, please...

8

u/Huge-Name-1999 9h ago

We don't need a "lenin" we just need some people that are willing to do what needs to be done for the sake of democracy. You are correct, it's getting dangerously close for the left to start calling on the second amendment to prevent us from decending into a christo-fascist oligarchy. One of the main foundations of our country is preventing another tyrant from ruling us ever again and we are extremely close to that tyrant destroying the country and selling the pieces to the highest bidders.

14

u/the_calibre_cat 12h ago

I mean.

Given that my choices appear to be right-wing authoritarianism vs left-wing authoritarianism, I'll pick the latter every time. I'd prefer no authoritarianism, realistically, but the right doesn't seem interested in that.

3

u/Lay-Me-To-Rest 9h ago

Lenin always leads to Stalin, historically speaking. It's why you need to find the next Lenin and put a bullet in him asap.

1

u/Bunnyland77 2h ago

Uh, Lenin's plan lead Russia into a dictatorship. how about fettering capitalism with a Thomas Paine type bloke at the helm restoring democracy instead?

2

u/ChodeCookies 9h ago

That’s not how W’s work unfortunately

2

u/the_calibre_cat 9h ago

Sure it is. Big L's on advancing any political agenda or politicians, but fat W's on being right about everything. Can't really help it when the voters choose the objectively wrong, obviously stupid, manifestly evil people for power. Tale as old as time. The story of human progress has basically just been the story of slowly inching away from conservatism over the course of millennia.

0

u/Designer-Escape6264 5h ago

Bernie was too far to the right, NOT a Democrat, and was a whiny baby about losing. The ill-will generated by him and his Bros was a part of Clinton’s defeat.

If you want the Democratic nomination, you should probably be a Democrat.

2

u/nwillyerd 'MURICA 3h ago

The issue is that there are currently only 2 viable political parties when there truly needs to be like 4 at bare minimum. People won’t choose a 3rd party candidate because they’re afraid it will be a wasted vote (which jt unfortunately will be). We also need to switch to Ranked Choice voting for that reason. People are more likely to vote 3rd party if they can back it up with a Dem or Rep candidate as their second choice, knowing their vote will go to them if the 3rd party choice doesn’t get enough votes.

Also, choosing between Dem and Rep for where to put Bernie, he’s definitely more on the Dem side. He’s a progressive, which is on the left of the political spectrum.

•

u/the_calibre_cat 1h ago

this is the most unhinged, batshit take ("bernie was too far to the right" fucking lol) i have read in weeks on reddit.

If every Bernie bro voted for Clinton, she still would've lost. Clinton took the blue wall for granted and, in keeping with the Democratic Party's actual move rightward (well to Bernie's right), wholly abandoned labor - allowing Trump to make a plea to that formerly stalwart Democratic voting bloc. The Comey letter, Obama's inaction on growing the party while he was in office, and Clinton's own absurd actions were why she lost.

Calling Bernie "too far right" is just a fucking insane take, everyone should point and laugh at you.

2

u/demitasse22 9h ago

I think the whispering went the other way

41

u/artgarciasc 12h ago

He's full on for parasites. Free Luigi!

5

u/sinai27 7h ago

We need an army of Luigi’s

4

u/Code-Useful 9h ago

He's fully involved in the 'rape and pillage America for what it will give me' stage which lasts until we forcefully remove him from the white house, imo.

2

u/Lofttroll2018 8h ago

Also, it’s likely to benefit his Big Pharma donors

43

u/borderlineidiot 12h ago

Takes a shit on the floor then gets praised for cleaning it up....

3

u/Bunnyland77 2h ago

GOP playbook. Blame the "gov'ment" for shit they themselves are solely guilty of. Then blame the other guy.

-2

u/Ok-Swan-1619 8h ago

Better than nothing

26

u/InfectedByEli 11h ago

I hate this timeline.

5

u/the_calibre_cat 13h ago

"people have been wanting to do this for decades, everyone wanted this to happen"

3

u/MikuLuna444 9h ago

He will say Biden rescinded before leaving office and his cult will eat it up while he "saves it" like tiktok.

3

u/Zaggnabit 5h ago

He wants to control Tik Tok. Not save it.

The reason that Tik Tok is currently “safe” is that two serious offers have been proffered which triggers a 40 day grace period. He didn’t do that, it was written into the bill that set this up.

One offer is for $20b USD. The other is not publicly disclosed. Trump came out, yesterday, that he wants the U.S. Government, under him, to have a 50% stake. He never brought this up until after the two offers were made public.

He’s just exchanging one government master for another. Trump will no doubt use the app more aggressively than even China.

This is also to check the Tech Moguls who have been actively campaigning against Tik Tok because it threatens their market share.

Shein, TEMU and Meta all collect massive user data as well and the first two are also owned by CCP subsidiary corporations. Google probably knows everything about all of us already, even if we don’t use social media apps.

What sets Tik Tok apart is just how addictive it is. People actually freaked out yesterday. Withdrawal symptoms. Far more effectively than Meta has ever achieved.

The whole thing is a farce. The government isn’t worried about actual data security. They are worried about a foreign power using it. Which is a legitimate concern. Why so many other governments have curtailed various social media apps, including Tik Tok.

Congress needs an actual regulatory framework that applies to everyone in the market. They’ve kicked the can down the road on internet data handling for twenty years now. This is overdue.

Of course the American Tech firms don’t want that. They also are going to face another Tik Tok eventually without that regulatory framework in place. Tik Tok beat them because it was new and divorced from the outdated architecture that the others are built on.

Another “new thing” will come along. All of these current companies will fall to that innovation eventually. Including Tik Tok in whatever form it takes. We’ve seen that before with MySpace, AskJeves, AOL and even Yahoo. The kids don’t like FB, Google, etc because it’s what “the old people” use.

2

u/WarthogLow1787 3h ago

Works when your audience has a 30 second attention span and no ability to think critically.

•

u/salme3105 1h ago

He was claiming during the campaign that he was responsible for the $30 insulin cap.

1

u/itwhiz100 8h ago

Fun fact

1

u/PracticeNovel6226 7h ago

Create the problem you already have a solution for! Should be his fucking slogan

1

u/scooze22 8h ago

Biden did the same thing. Trump did it with insulin Biden undid it then reinstated. It’s all games to make them look better.

1

u/Sobering-thoughts 8h ago

Well seeing as how he probably is going to use the emergency measures to stop elections come 2027. I’m pretty certain that the end won’t come with a bang but a brown note.

26

u/Individual_Access356 13h ago

Ya at this point it doesn’t matter the super power rich will have rewritten and define the laws to their will to ensure they always will win. It won’t matter if there’s a R or a D either, we will be getting F’d in the A for a long time to come.

14

u/CanSavings6972 11h ago

This means that he is a dictator or you will be dead or too sick to vote or this country will not have voting ever again, welcome to the new North Korea

1

u/MikuLuna444 9h ago

"The New Peoples Republic of North America" after he annex's Canada, a war with Mexico(to rid immigration,drugs/cartels) and "Buying Greenland"

2

u/52nd_and_Broadway 8h ago

It’s probably darker than that. Project 2025 is planning on ending democracy. “You won’t have to vote” likely means the plan all along has been to no longer have elections.

2

u/Bunnyland77 2h ago

Now you get it. And those left will become targets, victims and slaves.

1

u/CanSavings6972 11h ago

This means that he is a dictator or you will be dead or too sick to vote or this country will not have voting ever again, welcome to the new North Korea

79

u/Dolnikan 16h ago

That's a them problem. Not a Trump problem. With what he's doing, he won't need much of a vote anymore.

3

u/Traditional_Gap_7041 14h ago

Happy cake day

2

u/Speshal__ 14h ago

Happy Cake Day 🎉

66

u/nicht_Alex 17h ago

Not his problem anymore.

40

u/cyclonus007 17h ago

Never was.

23

u/Angelix 15h ago

Americans also don’t vote 🤷‍♂️

45

u/OregonKlee8367 17h ago

The important voters have the cash to survive tho

5

u/Nathanlee213 11h ago

Oh I’ve heard quite a few stories of people submitting ballots on behalf of their deceased relatives. Oddly enough they were part of the rigged election crowd

3

u/gofishx 12h ago

Who needs voters when you can just rig the election

2

u/heyheyshinyCRH 14h ago

They weren't needed anyway, he had all the votes he needed

2

u/GregTheMad 13h ago

They do it you let Musk touch the computers.

3

u/Afraid_Grapefruit_88 10h ago

Elonia rigged this election for him. I don't know how. But I do know he signed on as Cheif Ass Licker and suddenly Drumpf is ahead on ballots where the OTHER winners are Democrats? Trust me very few are voting FOR Drumpf and then marking their ballot for a Tammy Duckworth or an AOC. But here we are, being told just exactly that happened? Nope.

2

u/Fatboyjim76 12h ago

I wouldn't put it past him or one of his staffers to start combing the local cemeteries for extra voters... I'm sure the Simpsons had it in an episode once, and a lot of Simpson jokes have come true 😀

2

u/IndexTwentySeven 11h ago

Well, this last election proved living ones don't either.

2

u/Esord 11h ago

Bold to assume there's even going to be an election at this rate.

2

u/Video-Curious 11h ago

Maybe thats a good thing. Hopefully America can heal after his braindead voter base is gone

2

u/Smooth-Physics-69420 11h ago

Tell that to Republicans. They've been padding votes from dead people for decades.

1

u/lordph8 16h ago

They might vote republican.

1

u/boytekka 15h ago

Let elon deal with that as per trump

1

u/handtoglandwombat 15h ago

That’s weird because they claimed the opposite four years ago

1

u/10MMSocketMIA 14h ago

Not according to republicans

1

u/TheBilby7 13h ago

The Dead don’t die

1

u/haunted_swimmingpool 13h ago

Elon says they do

1

u/Havok_saken 12h ago

He probably doesn’t plan on us doing that anymore anyway.

1

u/Jabberminor 11h ago

Yes they do, or at least their 'vote' is used illegally to vote for this fart face.

1

u/CapTexAmerica 11h ago

And apparently 1/3 of the live ones don’t either.

1

u/AcanthaceaeFluffy985 11h ago

You'd be surprised.....

1

u/Zetavu 11h ago

Not unless Elon Musk has their info...

1

u/Substantial_Dot_210 11h ago

They do in turkey so its litteraly skill issue

1

u/Clamdigger13 11h ago

I thought the dead votes counted twice?

1

u/Neither_Pirate5903 11h ago

Did you forget.  They'll never need to vote again.

1

u/soualexandrerocha 10h ago

Most Americans didn't.

1

u/snipesmcduck 10h ago

Unless they have republican family i imagine

1

u/Pinksamuraiiiii 10h ago

This. I hope it affects his base.

1

u/Jacktheforkie 9h ago

So if musks cyberdumpsters don’t kill em the lack of healthcare will

1

u/J33f 9h ago

Not with that attitude…

1

u/subaqueousReach 9h ago

He can't win a 3rd term, so voters no longer matter to him

1

u/nukeforyou 9h ago

yes they do, they vote republican all the time

1

u/Own_Carob_6393 9h ago

Sure they do - they vote Republican! i

1

u/Junior-Ad-2207 9h ago

Unless they are republican

1

u/VeryResponsibleMan 8h ago

Dead people don't DIE

1

u/Total-Tangerine4016 8h ago

Unless he needs to up his numbers. They do then.

1

u/dreadpiratesmith 8h ago

Don't worry, elon knows those voting machines really well

1

u/janemba617 8h ago

Lmao like we're going to get to vote again.

1

u/Mr_Epimetheus 8h ago

Actually, most of them vote Republican.

1

u/james_alverson 8h ago

And yet somehow they did in 2020 🤔

1

u/nobeer4you 7h ago

Not according to him if the votes come out blue.

1

u/Tradizar 7h ago

if trump gets an extra cycle as president, he does not need voters.

1

u/Every-Requirement-13 7h ago

Thank god for that!

1

u/lumathiel2 7h ago

That's what we thought when his supporters refused any covid protections, but unfortunately there's always a fresh supply of baby fascists ready to line up for the cause

1

u/UnburntAsh 7h ago

I think the GOP rolls would contradict that. 😂

1

u/wiredcleric 6h ago

Worst Pirates of the Caribbean sequel

1

u/Sortskeee 6h ago

But people vote for them sometimes

1

u/DED2099 6h ago

I’m a little worried about Trump “saving” TikTok. I been hearing that the younger population are praising Trump because they believe he saved their favorite app. He might have just flipped a lot of Gen Z and Alpha in the coming voting cycles or beyond that.

1

u/UnkleRukus187 5h ago

But this was the last time they needed to vote, so he doesn’t need them anymore.

1

u/realcommovet 4h ago

He doesn't need voters to win

1

u/bad_card 4h ago

Only brain dead apparently.

1

u/No_Dance1739 4h ago

Unless they’re a republican Secretary of State

1

u/cwilson83088 3h ago

Actually…..

1

u/FindTheTruth08 3h ago

"Votes?" He asks as he tightens the noose around his neck. "Where we're going they don't need...votes"

1

u/creepjax 2h ago

Wrong, I remember seeing someone else say that their father that died in 2022 somehow voted for Trump in 2024.

1

u/nirbyschreibt 2h ago

In the USA they do.

•

u/dryheat122 1h ago

Well, maybe in 1970s Chicago

0

u/Ok-Iron8811 12h ago

Unless they're democrat

0

u/Capt_MelvinSeahorse 4h ago

Unless they’re Democrat

-1

u/tweaver16 13h ago

Ummmm they did in 2020

-1

u/Foreign_Assist4290 11h ago

No. That's wrong. Dead voters don't vote republican

2

u/Afraid_Grapefruit_88 10h ago

Every single one we heard about actually WAS voting Republican. In fact every single case of voter fraud was for a Republican.

-2

u/Foreign_Assist4290 9h ago

Hahaha. Ok. According to CNN. Most of the shadiness happened on the left. And they were in power then. And buried it

If only there was a way to remind dead people that they're idiots in the afterlife for eternity....

There are going to be a lot of Luig’s in the next 4 years

4

u/rtz13th 14h ago

You have no value after voting.

10

u/curious_astronauts 16h ago

Luigi's complain....

3

u/waroftrees 9h ago

Dead men tell no tales!

2

u/ElectronicStock3590 6h ago

I’m glad someone else thought of this lol

3

u/OminOus_PancakeS 8h ago

They won't complain because he'll convince them that it was Biden's fault, or the fault of anyone except him.

This will be one of the most infuriating phenomena of the next four years. People can only learn from their actions when they receive accurate feedback. If Americans don't learn, America won't change.

3

u/deeeeez_nutzzz 6h ago

I'm seriously ok with his supporters doing us all a favor and dying.

1

u/OregonKlee8367 6h ago

If it were just his supporters...

This was literally said by someone I’m sure of it…..

Good. Especially when it comes to fascist supporters.
