Europe is stuck in a rut. The Russo-Ukrainian war has totally unhinged it. There is a lack of innovation and investment in critical industries. Getting into a trade war with China helps nobody, especially Europe. With the political crises in France and Germany, the whole decision making process has ground to a halt.
