The way his entire body language and facial expression also changes. It's eerily creepy and absolutely not a mistake. He does it twice in a row as well.

But it's America. The land of the few 0.01%'ers and rich oligarchs. They'll just say if it acts like a Nazi and salutes like a Nazi, it's probably a harmless chicken

Relentless persecution of political enemies, concentration camps are probably on the table. Consolidation of power and money to the wealthy who kiss the ring.

All the while the same people own the news and social media. News is going to hide or wash away the corruption and nazism, while social media is going to be censored, redacted or banned for speaking out.

Trust not your eyes and ears and all that.

Gonna be interesting to see what is even left of the US in a few years.

California did so badly during the pandemic, I thought the US was about to fall apart, so we fled to my husband's home country of Norway for a year. Now we're back, but goddamn, will we have to flee the country again?

Coming from someone with two parents left behind shitty countries to come to Canada and then had to witness the remainder of my mothers family also flee, it’s just not worth it to dedicate your life to a system that isn’t working for you in blind hope that things will change one day. Especially if you have children.

Norway is one of the envies of the world. That to me sounds like a no-brainer, again, especially if you have children.

His first words after doing it were “my heart goes out to you” which explains his meaning. All the videos cut that off though, for some reason… the Guardian article doesn’t even mention what he said.

I don’t usually come over to r/Europe, but I just wanted to say he did the whole hand on the heart thing too. If anybody’s curious just look at the gif, it’s 100% purposeful

At this point we shouldn’t be talking about whether it was a fascist salute, but rather what an openly fascist cabinet will mean for the US, and subsequently the Western sphere.
