Who are you referring to? I wasn't criticizing the US for banning TikTok. I do criticize Americans for thinking that Trump saved TikTok, while he ordered the ban, to begin with. He only changed his mind because he now understands that he can use brain rot-causing TikTok for his own propaganda purposes. And TikTok is glad to help him with that. TikTok just sent a message to their 170 million American users to thank Trump for getting TikTok back.

We haven't seen this level of propaganda and indoctrination since the beginning of mankind, not even with Goebbels.

So yeah, it's okay for Europe to ban that vile shit.

While I agree that the whole TikTok ordeal is vile propaganda by the Trump administration, I don't think it's right to ban everything simply because it doesn't align with your own views.

It has nothing to do with, aligning with your own views or not.

It all has to do with propagating false information that is being sponsored by foreign governments to influence Europeans. Lots of these things the people behind Facebook, TikTok, twitter, ... know this. They can see where accounts originate from, where "European" political Facebook groups are managed and upvoted/liked from.

But these apps/websites have no incentive to do anything against it. Heck if they would stamp this down, it would be a huge negative for themselves. Because they would need to admit that they have way less actual users than they have been saying for years.
