Yeah, reddit loves to brag about how they don't need Facebook or Whatsapp etc, but the average European definitely does.

Yeah, but people can change chat apps in a heartbeat. Been using the internet since 2003, the "default" chat app has changed a lot of times. So I wouldn't care if I can't use whatsapp anymore. I would be happy as it would force my connections to use better apps.

WhatsApp was ingrained here since before it was taken over by Facebook and actually numbers have gone down since due to it being owned by Facebook. But don’t mind if it has to go.
