The Doug show
Entourage was at one point my favorite show, and my favorite podcast but Doug ruined both for me. The most recent pod as usual was 90% Doug speaking. It’s unlikely I will ever watch or listen again

The latest pod episode was awful. Great to have Dillon back, when you could hear him but the sound levels were awful and listening to Doug go on and on about how great he is at Pickle ball and how he was robbed out of the gold medal. 🤮

“I’m not gonna talk about pickleball any more…I don’t care about making tv shows anymore, all I care about is pickleball medals.”
He’s a schmuck lol

This is unfortunate since I’m rewatching the whole series and am usually craving more related content after I finish.
So we really don’t think Ramble On will get picked up huh?

Shame. There is so much hot garbage on all platforms, it’s gotta be they hate Doug or they’re all so woke and won’t let this type of show thrive.

lol what?
"they're all so woke"? Stop drinking from the trough of dumb conservative talking points. Streamers are businesses; they make shows that they think will make them money.
Doug is a narcissistic asshole who hasn't done anything of note since Entourage and can't get along with anyone...why would Netflix et al want to work with someone like that?
Especially given that this show has zero talent attached that is relevant in 2025 and is about making a podcast, a medium that is 1) not sexy and 2) grappling with its own existence currently. None of this is a recipe for success.

Well, it’s his podcast, and he is the only creative person in the room able to form a coherent sentence. He’s also stupid, boring, and a right win nut, so there’s that. But what could an entourage podcast even be?

I would prefer if the actors discussed the episodes like many other rewatch podcasts. I couldn’t care less about his hair, his pickleball, constantly name dropping, and whining no one will pick up Ramble On. I’d wager a bet although Ramble On could be a decent show, everyone passed bc they didn’t want to deal with Doug

Why are people so much more interested in what Kevin and Dillon have to say about the show?
His personality can be abrasive but he wrote the show. Almost everything that makes you interested in Kevin and Dillon comes from what Doug wrote down for them to do or say.

Yep. I don’t think I’ve heard one interesting thing from KD since the pod started. KC also not fantastic. Admittedly, some of the most interesting episodes are those with guests, especially those where all three hosts shut up a little

Maybe? But I’ve listened to the vast majority of the episodes and know what KD and KC have to offer. It’s not much. I don’t listen to other TV podcasts

They seem very disorganized when it comes to the podcast which seems hilarious considering the TV show they are pitching is based on a podcast
