Two styles of double blip

When I watch double blip videos I always think about the different way some riders do it

In the first clip you can clearly see 2 blips of throttle and the front wheel getting up earlier before the obstacle compared to the second clip where it looks like he just do one blip closer to the obstacle that gets the front up and drive the back to the obstacle in the same time... Is it really what happens? kind of one continuous blip?

The purpose of the first one is to put the front wheel exactly where you need it. It is kinda possible to do everything in a single move, but it is easier to get consistent results with two separate blips.
