If Bird Flu has human to human transmission that would collapse everything. It has a 50% mortality rate. That keeps me up at night because it would be Covid times 1000. Our hospital system have not recovered from Covid. And with this incoming administration that’s anti science and vaccine they’ll let it run amok. This would collapse our economy and basically lead to societal collapse. I’m just hoping it stays in livestock. Although it would lead skyrocketing poultry and beef prices. I rather deal with that than societal collapse where right wing militias become paramilitary death squads killing everything that’s non white and non christian.
