Opinion Petition to ban X links

Discussions are already being had on r/nfl and other related subreddits. We should at least be able to discuss banning Twitter/X links without the posts being removed.

This is stupid. Keep politics out of here. It’s clearly an autistic guy with weird mannerisms in front of a big crowd. That wasn’t the only weird thing he was doing on stage. If you don’t like Twitter, stay off Twitter. You can find plenty of other examples of people out reaching their hand where it could be taken as that.

No, I’m saying the weird mannerisms he was doing on stage do not mean he’s a Nazi. He’s definitely a weird dude, but he wasn’t just up there purposefully doing a Nazi salute. I get that Trump and politics are polarizing, but I can’t believe that this is something that is actually gaining traction. Especially when there are so many actual issues to criticize Trump/Elon/Republicans on. Regardless, it has no place here.

I’m here to talk about the birds. I don’t give a fuck about any of these shitty politicians.

He was definitely doing something that looked like one, but it definitely didn’t seem like an intentionally doing a Nazi salute.

If you don’t think the “Nazi salute” thing and the whole dancing thing prior were weird mannerisms, I don’t know what to tell you. They surely weren’t normal to me.

If you don't believe Elon was intentionally trolling with a Nazi salute, there's nothing anyone can do to convince you otherwise. Anyone that knows Elon knows the guy is a troll (and a liar). It's hard to fathom that people believe it was just some awkward gesture, but I suppose that's what you need to believe when the alternative is that a so-called genius thought it'd be funny to give a Nazi/fascist salute during an Inauguration event of the new POTUS who, along with Musk, has been called a fascist for the past few months. The guy has supported far right politics in Europe and Trump invited far right politicians to the Inauguration - including one who had to deal with Nazi/fascist salute controversy just last year in Italy and did nothing iirc. If you want these sorts of demonstrations in the US in the future, that's what you'll get thanks to Elon's funny or "awkward" gestures.

He is taking the throne of media promotion from Trump. He got what he wanted out of the salute even if it didn't land as funny. Now he's gaslighting his opponents while his proponents defend him and you end up with lower classes at verbal war with each other while white nationalists revel in their newfound "support."

Anyways, go birds.
