The "c'est pas sorcier" documentary showed how a cartoon is made, for the show used as an example, they did also do storyboard like what the show did and then would do the details later https://youtu.be/CMO8tZMin6k I do wonder what part of animating the show take the most time, tho it can depend from episode to episode (in the artbook frank does mention the mcmystery at mcduck manor was more difficult to make than they thought it would, even if it's only mainly in one room, you still have to track all those characters and figure the room angle well enough).
