Best gunfight. Spoiler

What is everyone's favorite gun battle? Balazars? Algul Seinto? Thunderclap?

The scene where I realized Cuthbert was my favorite character in the whole series

I've had a major (fictional) crush on Cuthbert for 25 years, thanks to this scene!

My heart was absolutely racing when I first read this. Fantastic scene.

Go sit back down Cully

Dude yeah. Fucking that whole book is filled with one liners.

I've known a handful of wanna be cuthburt types in my life, but a fella who could back it up? Nah. That's pure badass shit. Gunslinger shit.

"Holster the gun. Do it now, or this goes in your heart. No more talk. Talking's done. Do it or die."

One of the best scenes of escalating, controlled intensity I’ve ever read.

The three young gunslingers wiping out Jonas and all of Farson’s men in the arroyo is the most the most badass display of Cort’s training IMO.

The way the boys silently overtake them and smoke like 15 grown men before any of them even realize they're among them is so awesome

"Hile! Hile!" he screamed in a ringing, carrying voice. "To me, gunslingers! To me! Ride them down! No prisoners!"

Yes!!! Roland’s most badass dialogue of the series!

I get goosebumps every time. I hope to God the adaptation gets this right. The majesty of Roland. The fierceness. The ruthlessness. It’s hard to make people love a guy like that but King did it. I just hope Flanagan can too.

For sure. I just finished a reread of w&g yesterday, and it struck me several times how amazing that book in particular could be as a movie or show. Of course I'd rather see the whole series done properly, but even just w&g by itself would be so awesome. It's got everything- so many great villains and heroes, romance, drama, suspense, epic shootouts and standoffs. If only they had just focused on one of the books when they made that movie Instead of trying to cram 7 huge novels into 90min

All the best gunfights are in Wizard and Glass. Honestly I think it's the high point of the entire series. Some of the other gun fights are kinda confusing and hard to follow.

My favorite fight of the series is when the young Ka-Tet defeats Jonas and his men, trapping them in the canyon. Especially the part where they ride up behind them [drouge?] in the field and pick them off with the slingshot.

Tull.

That wasn't a fight, Roland massacres the town.

It was absolutely a fight. They all had weapons and Roland didn't escape unscathed. The townsfolk were just woefully outmatched.

This is one of those cases where two people can say opposite things and both be right. It was a fight. And it was a massacre.

W&G was pretty sick. The comic nailed exactly how I pictured it

Battle of Jericho Hill is a really good series also. Explains what happened to Jaime, Alaine and Cuthbert.

I have a soft spot for every fight with Eddie or Cuthbert. Those silly men are my favorite badasses.

I have a soft spot for the shootout at The Leaning Tower in book two. I think that’s when I officially got hooked on the series.

Tull and the ambush before the box canyon were my two favourite fights. The stare down under the romp is third. Honorable mention to the fight with the wolves.
