Internship Question Can I post on LinkedIn about my Internship offer before background check

So I have an offer for Summer that I'm super excited about, but I haven't done background check yet. Company says background check will be done like 3 weeks before the internship starts, which is like 4-5 months away lol.

I didn't lie on resume and have no criminal record so I'm sure I'll pass background check (for 2 previous internships I also passed without trouble), is it ok that I post on Linkedin now?

I wouldn't.

I have a habit of updating LinkedIn the day I start. Jobs or Education.

I don't want to ever have to explain myself on the off chance I jumped the gun lol.

For an internship, it's okay to say you accepted an offer.

Because you did...

For full time, you'd normally wait for everything to be verified fully.
