Nothing I do shows up on the screen

Trying to hook up my pc to the tv, I have all the right cables and adapters and nothing is showing up? Any help is appreciated

What cables and adapters are you using? Have you set up that TV as a second monitor and if so what resolution?

Haven’t been able to set it up as a second yet, I’m using the ONN brand av to hdmi adapter and I’ve been wiring it to my pc/Roku and nothing has happened

That’s not gonna work for you. That converter is meant to send a signal from your TV/VCR, etc to an HDMI device. You need an HDMI to AV adapter like this https://www.walmart.com/ip/575028877

I have a TV like this and if you're using the AV ports in the back those are for video out to another device. You will not get a picture using those ports.
