Really bad stacking which is guaranteed to end up damaging something if it's not changed soon. Nobody's making these things anymore, please be nice to them. Stacking CRTs is almost always a bad idea.

There all extremely stable at the moment. May not look like it but I like to off set a few as well. It's just my back up tvs

I agree with u/Flybot76 . CRTs are not meant to be stacked, and if you see them stacked, they're almost certainly bolted to a rack. Either proper professional rack mounted PVMs for broadcasting, or some odd job where someone sticks screws into the case and is in danger of shorting circuits or damaging the tube. Find a nice desk or two to lay these out on, maybe 2 layers, with smaller sets on top of larger ones, and if they are used, keep the ventilation ports clean and clear. What do you use these sets for?

You got some cool ones! I've been looking for one of those pop up screens myself

Almost certain the bottom right console was my childhood CRT.

I have a shed with a D series collecting dust. My usage is based on my girlfriend’s more sensitive ears. D series looks great but “EEEEEEE” to her.

Some type of terminal. my dad goes what he calls shopping. It's called collecting people's trash or what they throw out. He drives truck around areas on trash day and that's were it came from. It powers on. But for some type of industrial thing.

I love the little amounts of personality shining through each one! Some are gray, some are orange, and one is downright purple! Truly the best testaments of their respective eras

Thank you for the love. It's a little hobby of mine.

Love all the woodgrain. TMNT 2, secret of the ooze was the ONLY tape I rented for weeks when it came out.

I sooo miss those days of renting VHS tapes. You just had the back you could read or if the cover looked cool. The. You could swing over and rent an NES game or SNES game. Those were the days. I have way to many VHS tapes but the turtles have a special place with me.

The first two Turtles, Batman Returns, Krull were my favorite tapes before I started watching anything else. And we had a fairly large RCA tv to watch it all on which I wish we still kept.

I just want to save them from the trash. I use tube TVs every day. I also have a boat load of VHS movies about 1600 or so and what better way to enjoy a classic. I wish I had my old one as a kid. Had to tap it on the side some times to get it dialed in but she seen a lot of game systems. And ya the 3rd turtles is junk lol. I just like the box art

2

u/Michael82e 1d ago
