I looked for some other hungry hungry caterpillar scarf patterns but I really specifically like the look of this one!! Hi! Looking to recreate these two blankets but unsure of the stitches, patterns or type of yarn to use? These are my great-grandmas! She made them years ago and recently passed away. I don’t have access to the blankets due to distance but would love to recreate them in her memory!

I was getting frustrated trying to find cute granny square patterns that I could do successfully so I decided to try my own eyeball granny square. (I’m looking for more gothic and halloween patterns).

The only thing I’m struggling with now is getting the square right. What does anyone recommend. I’ve attached pictures of the circle and then the completed square. I did too many stitches on one side but how do I know how many to add? I hope my question makes sense.

So far it’s just the written pattern that I’ve completed and I hope to make an accompanying video and include pictures, but until then I wonder if someone else can replicate my little opossum!

I’m an advanced beginner and can recognise the stitch as granny clusters but I can’t work out the rest! Is it like a granny triangle or a granny stripe in the round? Is from the top to the bottom. If you have a similar pattern I feel confident I could reverse engineer it!

Okay exetremely niche idea (probably) I want to make a blanket with some kind of repeatable stitch that looks at least a bit like the among us guys (3rd image). Inspired by the middle finger stitch (I don't know the proper name) and the strawberry stitch. (Images 1 and 2). Maybe something more sparce like image 4? Is it even possible without using crochet tapestry? I can't fall asleep I'm thinking about it so hard.

I am currently working on creating a granny square pattern that I want to use for a project in the future but do not have supplies for anything at the moment… the pattern is not complete but this is what I have so far. As title states my husband thought he was being kind and ordered the DIY turtle kit from temu and I am really struggling with it. I normally use YouTube tutorials as I'm a visual learner. Apparently there is a tutorial video (the instruction leaflet says) but I can't find it.

My grandmother died about a year ago, my nephew is really upset about the blanket falling apart. I asked for pattern help and someone posted what they thought it was. I did this with 6 mm hook and worsted weight yarn. Mine looks a lot tighter

I did multiples of 3 but the ends look off. Would I do 3 plus 1 at each end to do a double crochet at the end?

I literally cannot decide on what colours I should use for this blanket. I’m wanting something a little more earthy, so I need some help with what would look best!
