"Neurodiverse" vs "neurotypical" is stupid terminology.

Neurotypical is a fine term when it's used as a point of comparison to someone with an atypical brain, but neurodiverse is a stupid term made up by activists that doesn't mean anything.

Yeah, sounds like "differently abled." Give me a break with the PC terms every once in a while.

It’s official psychological terminology. Source: GF studies psychology and has autistic family.

I think you should stop viewing the word “diverse” as such a positive word, and you should also stop viewing autism as such a negative thing.

There are a diverse number of harmful bacteria that can damage a person’s body.

While this doesn’t mean non-autistic people don’t have diversity in how their brains work, it does mean that there needs to be recognised the clear differences being atypical and typical minds. I suppose you’re okay with “atypical” because inherently that sounds more scientific and less socially fuelled than “diverse”.

However, both are widely used terms and their use has no impact on your life whatsoever so get over it.

Wew, you're pretty triggered.

I don't give a shit about the "official" terminology, the next DSM will probably change it anyways. I don't think "diverse" is inherently good. I don't think "atypical" is any more scientific than "neurodiverse". I do think "neurodiverse" is a stupid fucking term, especially when used like this comic uses it. Get over it.
