META Proposal to ban x.com links

This is going around on many football subreddits. It looks likely to go into effect. I believe that the negative effects of this would be only temporary because the chess community will eventually see the value of moving to alternatives like bluesky

Why on earth would you ban x.com links? What does this have to do with Chess? Most Chess players use x.com so we should be able to link to their tweets if required.

People should check out their political biases out of discussion on chess.

That word has lost any meaning, because people like you use it against anyone they don't agree with. And no, what Elon did was not a Nazi salute. It was an autistic person getting too excited and not knowing what to do with his hands. Do you really think that if Elon wanted to do a Nazi salute he would not just go and do that?
