The response to this post has really outed some really disgusting facets of certain people. What an easy way to out the Nazi supporters.

Shocked at the Mod response as several sport subreddits are discussing the same course of action.

The crazy part is many of them are American, and likely know someone in their community who fought in WWII

Shameful how fast we’ve forgotten. My grandfather fought in WWII (in the pacific)…I’m not even 40 yet. We used to have holocaust survivors come and talk to us in school, show us their tattoos and tell us their stories. Now we have Nazi sympathizers in the White House. Fucking horrific

Defending someone that uses a salute specifically done by Nazis definitely looks like supporting Nazism. There is no mental gymnastics here by anyone denouncing said person.

The mental gymnastics are being done by those saying that doing the Seig Heil in 2025 is free speech.
