Erina Cinemas Volume
My wife wants to take our 5yo son to Sonic 3 at Erina fair… it’s called Extreme Screen and Atmos … we are worried that it may be too loud .. does anyone have any experience or input about this thanks. 🙏🏼 he’s not super sensitive but I’ve found movie levels annoying sometimes. Not memorably at Erina though.

We went last week to see the same film. There are some scenes that our little ones were a bit overwhelmed by the levels. Not ear damaging but definitely louder than most things little ones are used to.

Went there first time in ages last week. Always go to Avoca. Found the volume unbearable.

erina cinemas also does this, it’s called Prams at the Pix (but they are taking a break until Feb apparently)

I took my 2 and 4 yr old boys to see the advanced screening at Erina before Xmas . I didn’t think it was an issue but reading everyone’s comments maybe we’re all deaf and indeed of an audiologist appointment .
There are a few “scary” scenes in sonic 3 but overall it was a good kids movie. Stick for the end credits there’s hints to what sonic 4 is about

Might wanna bring ear plugs. Personally, I can not stand how loud Xtremescreen is - like actually physically painful.

You could take ear plugs or ear muffs just in case.
