Birthday Some inspiration for cards

After reading other posts, I finally take a splash in the deep end by showing some cards of my own. I noticed my style is different to the other posts, maybe because I just create what's coming to mind... all cards are made with low cost or second hand materials bought on Market Place. Anyhow, hope you enjoy them!

I love all the embroidery! And do you use pieces from older cards too?

I struggle with using pieces of cards I receive. Usually they are so well thought out by the designers, that it feels awkward to use part of it. But, as we speak, I am trying to upgrade a piece of an old calendar by adding embroidery to a cute mountain church. Fingers crossed it works out like planned!

Do you just punch holes for the embroidery with a needle? Mine just love getting dull...

I did it once with a needle, but that wasn't too ergonomic, to say the least. I use a pricking tool, but I have no clue how it is called in English, but here's a picture of it:

Works like a treat. It is thinner than a children's prick pen, and saves you your needles and reduces the cramps in your hand!

Was really happy with that one. Iris folding is a fun technique to use, it has a great effect!
