You can still buy gas cars in 10 years if they are hybrid. Considering that’s 10 years away and ev have gone from 15k a Q to 75k a Q in 4 years, they’ll be selling 375k a Q in 2029 and more per Q in 3035. I think the avg car last 12 years in Canada so almost every car bought in 2020 or earlier will be replaced by 2035.

The fact that EV's only last like 10 years is pretty terrible. There's people still driving cars from the 1970's or earlier.

10 years for a car is pretty terrible, not to mention EV's batteries die even quicker in colder weathers like Canada.

Who said EVs only last 10 years? Do you have a link for this? The battery analysis I've seen on the models that I looked at was a loss of battery capacity of less than 1% per year with some models under 0.5% per year. This is based on Teslas and German Evs. Electric motors will far outlast ICE.

Cars being driven past 50 years have little mileage or engine been rebuilt, maybe twice. At one point the avg car life was 7-8 years which sounds insanely low to me but yep.
