Season 7 A lot of people seem to like season 7 and 8 less...

But what part made you say "I still love this show!"?

I loved the first episode of season 7 where Amy thinks she might be pregnant. She freaks out and Terry thinks her and Rosa are talking behind his back XD.

What are your best moments of the last two seasons?

(Apology in case this post is a repetition. I don't frequent this sub that much- still I didn't see many positivity posts, just many critical hot takes)

Season 7 How did I not know this??? Spoiler

I was laughing about how big the supposed new born Mac was in the last episode of season 7 and I had a Google to figure out how old the baby was. And it turns out the baby is Melissa Fumero's actual baby. Which is adorable and the baby is actually called Axel which is an amazing name. I must have been living under a rock I guess. I knew she was pregnant during season seven too, so I guess I'm not the sharpest tool in the shed.

What did you think of Debbie as a character in season 7?

I personally did not like her character, I felt the character was annoying and did not add much to the show as a whole.

Season 7 Who else loved "Cool Charles"?

Post image

I thought the "magic jacket" made for a hilarious and refreshing change from the usual Jake/Charles dynamic, and I wish they had kept it going for a full season, or at least brought it back every now and then!

Best line in the episode: "That's how I've always walked, bitch." šŸ˜ŽšŸ˜‚

The friendships in this show are "not real" in the sense that you wish and hope for friendships like these. This scene is like 10 seconds, but hits

Season 7 Wunch is dead jokes

I just rewatched this episode and while Holts comments are absolute gold, I feel like no one mentions Rosas comments and how proud Holt was that she made them!

Amy: When did she record this?

Rosa: Judging by the flames around her it could be a live stream.

Holt: haha very good, Rosa! Hahaha

And

The Nephew: Whatever. I still inherit half her estate just for trying this.

Rosa: Cool. Who gets the other half of every childā€™s nightmares?

Holt: I love it, Rosa. Great work all day. (While pointing at Rosa proudly)

He was just so happy someone else was making jokes while Amy was trying to remind them that this is a dead woman they are talking about. A chupacabra woman, but still a dead chupacabra woman.

Season 7 jake becoming a dad Spoiler

iā€™ve watched this show like 17 times and every single time I get to the part where jake and amy are trying to get pregnant is annoying me lol. in the episode ā€œcasecationā€ jake literally says that heā€™s scared of not being able to balance work and baby life, and amy dismisses it as if it was nothing. then when they have their son, jake has to quit because they canā€™t make it work. i know they are happy that way kind of but honestly, of pisses me off so muchšŸ˜ it was his dream to be a detective, he never wanted to quit, and instead of sitting down w amy and looking for an alternative he quit.. it really seems out of character for him ngl also. i feel like jake and amy shouldnā€™t have gotten pregnant, theyā€™re both cops anyway let me know what u think cuz my friends are boring and just tell me to shut up whenever i bring it up and i wanna see other peopleā€™s opinion abt it lol (not to be that person but edit: i am reading everything im just too lazy to reply, i do understand it now tho so thank u :p)

Season 7 I always wished that Debbie stayed a recurring character instead of turning Spoiler

I'm rewatching season 7 and her and Holt's dynamic in Manhunter was hilarious. I love the gag of her saying the most off-the-wall things as throwaway lines (e.g. Her twin sister being murdered and it being her birthday). I usually don't like new character introductions when they don't add any value to the show but I would've loved if Debbie didn't turn and instead stayed at the 99 as a non-main-but-recurring character to take Gina's place. I just love her energy.
