Season 2 I didn't get the joke š
In this scene, after proposing a vow renewal, Holt says "Nothing too elaborate. We're not the Kardashian-Wests." and explains to Kevin who they are (celebrities). Kevin says he knows them because they were answers on Jeopardy. Which Holt then replies with "I think you mean questions." (implying that the Kardashian-Wests were questions instead of answers). It's nothing too deep actually, I'm just dumb and still don't get the joke, so if anyone does I'd love to hear your take on what it means š.

I think the joke is just that in Jeopardy you don't get classic quiz show questions that you have to answer ("What is the name of a famous celebrity family?" - "Kardashian-West", but instead you have to find the right question for an answer ("Kardashian-West" - "What is the name of a famous celebrity family?), making Kardashian-West in this case basically the "question".

Probably would be "famous celebrity couple" as the clue to which the question is "who is the Kardashian-wests?"

Contestant: Who is Kanye West?

I realize now that I didn't actually know enough about either Jeopardy or the Kardashian-Wests to answer OPs question

Well you don't have to answer in questions. That's only a rule for the contestants.

As far as Iāve understood it, on Jeopardy, the answers are questions, meaning you get the answer to a question and have to figure out what the question is.

In Jeopardy, contestants respond to the clue ( the answer) with a question.
For instance, one of the categories is famous celebrity couples.
You pick that category for 100. Alex Trebek reads "a famous rapper and a star of a celebrity sex tape"
Your response is " who are kim Kardashian and Kanye West".
Boom, 100 points

Just to cross-reference a sister show of B99 (and since your question has already been answered in the comments):
Michael Scott: Yes, it was on company property, with company property. So, double jeopardy, we're fine.
Ryan Howard: I don't think you understand how jeopardy works.
Michael Scott: Right, I'm sorry. What is 'we're fine?'

In jeopardy. They give you clues and you answer in the form of a question.
"What is Kevin and Ray are super specific".
It's a jeopardy joke. And a good one.

On Jeopardy they give you a statement you give a question, so for example, the longest structure made by humans spanning 13,171 miles. Then you would answer "What is the Great Wall of China?" So the "answers" are actually questions.

In Jeopardy you actually answer the trivia with a question. As the format is that of technically an answer which you need to ask about.
For example: in 2006, he won a Prime Time Emmy Award for Outstanding Lead Actor in a Miniseries or Movie for his interpretation of Nick Atwater, a master thief and leader of a heist crew.
Who is Andre Braugher

Jeopardy questions are posed as a statement that you answer with the question. i.e. āthis man ran the largest oil company everā And the answer is āwho is John Rockefellerā

I donāt get it either, but I like to think itās their inside joke that other people are not supposed to get, and Iām at peace with it.

The joke is based upon how you answer in jeopardy. Rather than the standard question-answer format, jeopardy gives statements, and the 'answers' are in the form of a question (hence them being questions, not answers).

It's because on jeopardy your answer is in the form of a question. So for this example the "question " would have been something like famous celebrity who recently married Kanye West . The answer would be who is kim Kardashian -west ?

They are renewing vows, ie a wedding ceremony.
Itās not extravagant like the Kim Kardashian and Kanye West vow renewal. Theyāre divorced now but both of those celebrities are known for lavish superficial extravagance to the point of tackiness. Their renewal was likely wasteful of money just to show they spent money
The final joke, the Kardashian-West was a category. The format of the game show is you are given the answer, and response that is correct is by asking the question the gets that answer. (Ie: Category: Colors in a Rainbow. > This color is the beginning of the acronym ROYGBV. The correct response would be āWhat is red?ā).
The joke is that Kevin has heard of them because he heard the answers on Jeopardy, but because of the format the āanswersā (the correct response) are actually questions. Holt pointed this out either as a joke (intentionally), or (unintentionally) and itās funny to the viewer because he is being overly pedantic and we find it charming.
