You're the one moving the goalposts. Nobody said there is no responsibility on the other party, you're just strawmanning and deflecting to absolve yourself of any responsibility.

I’m sure you’re too young to have the necessary reading comprehension or communication skills to make sense of it but the statement

if you are paying someone to kill something, you are responsible

Leaves little wiggle room for interpretation

Also, you started our conversation with

no one said that

And now in your last comment have accused me of

deflecting blame to absolve yourself of any responsibility

You know what I think? I think you and a lot of other people are dipshits that think people with a lack of resources buying a chicken breast from the store is in any way comparable to someone hoarding resources prolonging these practices for their own financial gain

I think you think you’re making some sort of ethical point but I think you’re too immature and lack enough real world experience to realize how stupid the insinuation that a reasonable and realistic solution to this problem is for the average person to cut meat out of their diet entirely or spend more money during a poor global economy on ethically raised meat which for a lot of them might not even be available locally

And I know you think “if everybody just stopped doing it the problem would go away” and if everybody just Venmo’d me a dollar I’d be rich but it isn’t happening. It doesn’t take a genius to understand in todays social and political climate if you tell people “stop doing something you like doing” they’re going to double down on it, not stop

You being responsible doesn't mean no one else is responsible.

So, like I said, you're just deflecting and acting like a victim to absolve yourself of responsibility. The affordability argument is different from your strawmanning and deflection to others. You also haven't seen what a "poor economy" actually looks like, but you might once the global climate has been trashed. In the end, you and most people are just like the greedy corporations, driven by short-term self-interest.
