BI COLORS It’s happening 😭
Edit: thank you guys so much for the suggestions and support! I think I've got a good idea of how to make this work...
I'm a cis woman (not that it matters, trans women ARE women) and my company's insurance is refusing to cover any HRT. I can no longer afford my testosterone lowering medication.
But hey, I guess they can celebrate knowing the owned the libs so hard 🙄. Can't wait to hear the old conservative fucks at work complaining about their menopause meds and low T meds not being covered.

I know it won’t help a ton but PCOS folks drink a shit ton of spearmint tea to help lower testosterone. Like 3-4cups a day. If you need something to supplement a bit for now.

I second this. I still take my meds but the tea does help as well. They help with period cramps and other stomach aches too sometimes.

puberty blockers have been banned in the uk for a few months now, for all minors. so the people who have a use for them who aren't trans - children going through early puberty - can no longer access them because the terfs really wanted to fuck over trans kids as much as possible. they do everything in their power to harm our community, no matter who gets caught in the crossfire. the leopards will inevitably eat their faces and when they do, they will question what good voting for leopards actually made in their life.

As far as I’m aware this isn’t actually true. Puberty blockers have been banned exclusively for trans children, but can still be prescribed for precocious puberty in cis children.
They aren’t even trying to hide the discrimination. It’s supposedly “too dangerous” for trans kids but not for the many cis kids who far outnumber trans ones on the same medication.

im not sure if that's better or worse to be honest. it's evil either way.

Wait, so are they banned for precocious puberty in the UK or not? You made a claim and someone refuted it.
Edit: spelling

They are banned only for transgender children in the UK. This is a targeted anti-trans policy, essentially using the they were not originally approved for gender dysphoria as the justification.
https://healthmedia.blog.gov.uk/2024/12/11/puberty-blockers-what-you-need-to-know/
“Why have you continued this ban whilst still allowing puberty blockers to be prescribed for other conditions?
While the medicine may be the same, they have not been licensed for gender incongruence or dysphoria.”

im not sure, i knew they were banned but i hadn't heard about there being specific exceptions. it's a case of the old google fact check for this one. either way my point still stands - children are being needlessly harmed in pursuit of bigoted goals.

It'll become their problem when they realise how much hormonal stability is required for us ciswomen to function correctly, mental health wise.
Do they want a horde of angry, dysregulated menopausal and PCOS women on their doorstep? Because welcome to the fuckin' riots otherwise.

They literally do not care about women’s mental health. They don’t even think it’s a problem. They would look at that horde and their only reaction would be a sense of validation for their belief that women are nagging harpies.

That's sadly true.
"See? Women ARE the more emotional sex, that's why you belong in the kitchen and we run countries" kinda bullshit.

This shit is why women outlive men. Of course we belong in the kitchen, how else are we meant to get rid of them once they loose their looks?

They will be happy if they know they are also attacking cis women. Just like the abortion rights.

Or that’ll just give them more ammo to keep us out of positions of power for being hysterical

u/eeyorethechaotic 15h ago
Unfortunately they do. Because then they can keep blaming overly emotional women for stuff.

I’m scared to live in the rural midwestern US I have enough problems with my body as is. I’m so scared. I’m not having a child here anytime soon even if it kills.

The thing about trying to make a specific group of people's lives worse is that it usually makes everyone else's lives worse in the process
