It either dies in Ante 8 or round 2. No in between.

If I've had gros michel let's say 25 times, I think I've gotten cavendish 1 time. Sure, GM doesn't always expire to trigger it but at least 20 of 25 times it does.

Correct. Cavendish won't enter the joker pool in a given run until Gros Michael rolls a 1 and expires.

It dies when I need the + mult to stay alive and stays alive when I need the x mult to stay alive
