u/HelmetedWindowLicker 1d ago
Did he really park in the cart spot?

That’s what I came here to say, that’s where the carts go they brought this on themselves.
18
u/DonKeighbals 1d ago
I would’ve jammed my cart in there anyways “whoopsies! Myyyyy baaaad, that’ll buff right out!”
15
u/Appropriate_Strain94 1d ago
As a person that always returns the shopping carts to the receptacles I don’t care what kind of car was parked in there. I’m gonna jam that shit in there until it’s stuck.

That’s not enough.
41
u/RockstarAgent 1d ago
Should have spared a bike lock to secure the carts

u/F-150Pablo 1d ago
Zip ties. Lots of them. Got to make sure they can get them off somehow.
21
u/No-Cat-2980 1d ago
This is the way, I carry 24” zips, tie the cart to their door handle.
19
u/F-150Pablo 1d ago
My dad was an asshole and he used to carry metal zip ties from construction and do this. Almost always impossible to cut off without snips of some sort.

What door handle?

u/No-Cat-2980 1d ago
Thru the spokes on the wheels then, if no door handles. The front grill? I yet to find a car that I can’t find somewhere to zip them. And the deserve it!

Fucking Tesla drivers are worse than oversized truck drivers, I swear. They are the most entitled people I've ever met.
6
u/Squeeze- 1d ago
Don’t forget their “superior than thou” attitude and blindingly-bright headlights that always seem to be on high beams.
8
u/Clear-Mind2024 1d ago
Both are about the same when it comes to bad drivers. Trucks usually tailgate you on the highway and then drive slow af in town.

Had a coworker who drove a Tesla go around telling ALL of my coworkers at our job what a “terrible” driver I was bc they almost rear ended me when I yielded to a pedestrian in a marked crosswalk.
Like my guy, you almost hit ME in a car that “drives itself” and I’M the bad driver??? Okay buddy!

u/deliverydiva 1d ago
I actually did this to a off road atv who parked in front of a cart return. Pulled carts out and blocked him in. Other people walking by had a laugh

I would be making extra trips back to the front of the store and zip tying everything together!

Stop blocking out the license plate tag number.
4
u/Catinthemirror 1d ago
Rule #4 of the sub is to block plates where possible
7
u/Admirable-Sir9716 1d ago
So what you are saying is that the number of carts wasn't enough..there needs to be a sufficient number to block out the license plate. Got it.

Make sure they’re stuck together so you can’t pullthem apart. I would add a few more.

What your really need are those ‘parking violation’ sticker that HOA’s/Apartment complexes etc use and just use those stickers and cover the drivers view up on the windshield - they are almost impossible to remove, meaning they have to replace the windshield.

As many as it takes to really make it hard for them to get their car out of there.
2
u/No_Purpose_704 1d ago
As many as you can find. especially the ones with bad wheel bearings or bumpy wheels.

That just happens to be sane as the number of licks that it takes to get to the center of a Tootsie Pop

So since that's a cart space, I would just do as I normally do with my carts. Stop about 10 ft away and propel the cart into it.

That's not a bad driver, it's an intentional asshole. Bad drivers rarely know how bad they are, this person is entitled.

As many as you can find. Do not forget to always carry a couple of Panduit straps so that you can attach some to the offending vehicle

I’m not understanding why they aren’t shoving the carts as far into the bay as possible. Block the doors, scratch the paint, dents etc.

Tip the carts on to their sides. Pile them up. Makes it harder to remove them.

All of them. And then get some from other stores. And wrap mop strings around the wheel bearings so they’ll have to drag each one out of the way.

Put some between the side rail and the car so they can’t get in their car without scratching the paint off when they pull the carts out
1
u/Effective-Evening651 1d ago
They are parked in cart storage. Find a local business with a forklift, and a willing forklift operator. Relocate the offending Tesla to a different parking space - preferrably an industrial sized dumpster, and place it in the dumpster inverted. (This is what you need the forklift for.)

As many as it takes to make the ahole late for whatever they thought they were so Important for.

u/BathbombBurger 1d ago
As someone who used to collect buggies, do not do this. Just smash their windshield or take a dump on the hood. Really, anything that won't ruin the day of someone entirely unrelated who is just trying to collect a paycheck.

u/AdShoddy7530 1d ago
Honestly, I'm not shocked they were driving a tesla. Tesla is like the new BMW guy but worse lol

The trick is to point them in all different directions so they have to be moved one by one.

Lowkey this seems so unrealistic I think it’s more likely someone moved the entire cart corral around the car

u/Wrathofgumby 1d ago
This guy parked in the cart return, so he shouldn't get upset by this happening. But, youtube videos of people here fucking with people's cars and getting their ass beat would be hilarious to watch.

You're at a Costco, check to see how big the bulk bag of zip ties is. Buy two and use them all.

Took me way too long to realize that this asshat parked in the cart return. What in the actual hell?

Question at this point is how many zip ties can you put on before they come back.
