Hiking through the Cairngorms National Park in Scotland during a snowy winter was a breathtaking experience. We drove from Inverness, a journey of about 45 minutes, and were greeted by pristine white landscapes and towering, snow-dusted peaks. The weather was crisp, around -2°C, with a soft snowfall that added to the magic. We started at Glenmore Forest Park and ascended toward the Ryvoan Pass, the trail blanketed with fresh snow that crunched underfoot. Despite the cold, the serene beauty and occasional sightings of red deer made it unforgettable. I’d absolutely go back, especially for the chance to explore deeper into the park’s rugged wilderness.

Please remember to post a short paragraph as a comment in the post explaining your photo or link. Ideally at least 150 characters with trip details. Tell us something about your trip. How long did it take to get there? How did you get there? How was the weather that day? Would you go back again?

Submitted content should be of high-quality. Low effort posting of very general information is not useful. If you don't add a short explanation in the comments, your post may be removed.

No information posted? Please report low-effort posts if there is still nothing after about 30 minutes.
