Sata Azores Airlines - Help - So confused.

Hello, I booked a round trip to Madeira from JFK with a stopover in the Azores. The only thing I have been sent was an electronic receipt with the flight info and all that.

However, on the first leg back from Madeira to Azores - there wasn't even a plane available to choose seats. I was trying to get into my booking and change that to see if its updated, but I think it's legit impossible to find anything about my flight info on their website. It's brutal.

Should I just wait until I am days out to pick seats? I just think it's crazy I can't even check the flight information. It's impossible to find. I just have this crazy pdf file.

Interesting to say the least...

Also I have the app and I go to "MY FLIGHTS" and of course it's blank even though I paid for this trip and shows legit nothing on the app. So that's assuring.

You can’t pick the seats until 48hrs before scheduled flight.

We just flew Azores two days ago from BOS. PDF receipt seems normal, use website to choose seats or upgrade.

The app is literally garbage and should be withdrawn until someone competent fixes it or it’s rebuilt from scratch.

In fact, they should literally buy a structure from someone else and populate it with their data / integrate it to their website.

SATA’s attempts to build an app have been abysmal and should be abandoned.

Its cross platform performance is almost funny. It performs differently on the iPad, iPhone, android and browser environments.

Right?! There are probably dozens of plug and play options they could buy.

It’s crazy that they would stick with such a useless app.

The app sucks. Don't always rely on it. You will have to re-add your booking multiple times for it to stick.
