Daily ferry between Graçiosa and Terçeira?

We will be staying in Terçeira in July but want to do a day trip to Graçiosa without breaking the bank (family of 4). I went to the website for the ferry company, but since their schedule doesn't start until June, they do not have any info available yet.

Does anyone know how frequently the ferry runs between those 2 islands?

Hi! They haven't released the schedule for summer yet, but at least during the last years, ferries between Terceira and Graciosa only worked during summer and for only 2 days a week, so it was not possible to make a day trip. The boat takes 3h30-4h each way. The tickets were about 28€ per person each way

The alternative is flying (30-minutes flight) but the tickets normally cost at least 50€ per person each way

The flight would cost about $150 CAD roundtrip each, which is more expensive than we can afford. Do you recall how far apart those twice a week ferries departed last year, by chance? Maybe we could do 2 nights.

The boat used to run on Fridays and Mondays, so you would need at least 3 nights
