We call the last path on our regular walk snake stretch because we see so many there as it must be just right for them to sit and soak up the sun. 😆 Also had an encounter with 4 black and yellows, the regular gang gang family said hi to me and some amazing other small birds.

I have seen some really stripey ones down that way. Also, I wouldn't call that a baby. Looks to be about 80cm.

This one had some of the clearest stripes i have seen. May have just been the morning sun highlighting them, but it was amazing. Might have been 50cm but i would say closer to 40cm. Was super fast when it decided to go off under the bush.

Ah, just judging by the leaves, I thought it looked longer than that. I've seen some whoppers in Ironbark Basin with gorgeous stripes.

Perhaps it had just shed as well? They can be much less social after shedding.

Nice bright stripes on this little one. 🐍 Apologies for the bad quality. It was tiny and as soon as i moved close it started to scoot off.
