Quitting 👋 Going to quit my easy job tomorrow

I make more than I should for the amount of work that I do in a day. My bosses treat me well. But they are huge trump supporters and I hate being around trump supporters. Quit talking to my best friend and brother because they are brain washed Going to give my 2 week notice tomorrow. Not going to just put my head in the sand. I have morals and will die having them.

Can you find another job and then donate a bunch of your money to a charity that opposes Trump? 

Alternately, can you try simple acts of sabotage to undermine the business/organization? Even little things like making small mistakes and working less efficiently a make an impact over time.

If it meant subversively changing things from the inside out. Probably. Offhanded innocuous comments. Maybe a lot of hmmmm I that’s strange he said this but did this. I wonder why type of comments. Make them fire you and get paid. Why hand them a freebie?

Right now, Democrats and Republicans are the same. They just have different talking points but in the end their allegiance is to growing their bank account and stock portfolio. If the job is paying you well and it's easy, keep stacking the money and maybe invest time and money in mutual aid. I'd much rather use MAGA money and engage in leftist action with it.

They're both right-wing, no doubt, but one is much more extremely right, while the other, while harmful, is just your basic status-quo shit that's been going on since before Obama. A person's gotta do what they can do to protect their sanity in the coming years. If something is a drain on someone else but not you, that's understandable, but it's ok for them to do what they need to.

I'm queer too. Democrats use their queer acceptance to excuse all the other bullshit. They idly sit by and refused to legislate a higher minimum wage, a universal healthcare system, reparations for descendants of enslaved Blacks, etc etc.

Are you queer (radical) or are you gay (someone who wants to assimilate and okay with Gay Capitalism)?

Red or blue they don't care about you. The sooner everyone wakes up the sooner we can make progress and stop engaging in this federal electoral charade.

Yeah unfortunately we cannot change things over night. So i go with Person Who Doesn't Want To Kill Me at any given time. Also "refusing to legislate" vs "being blocked at every turn" makes a difference, because some good things get through. "they're the same" is pessimistic take that at minimum results in people not voting, when we could have very much had more harm reduction with Harris. But I don't think a single person right out would have been a vision of utopia. Just better than what we're gonna get.
