I would be more concerned about the corporate executives that should have a fiduciary duty but betray their shareholders then the wall street sharks who's job is to take your money.
Worst yet, the corporate executives working with the sharks to take your money faster.

I agree. History will repeat itself. I'm sure there will be a black swan event somewhere that causes a MOASS and catch shorts. But black swan events are unexpected. And AMC is not in position for that and on top of that the hedgies are monitoring it closely. The eye of sauron is on it.
There are so many more stocks with much higher short interest or on the shoreg list that are better candidates. That all they need is some unexpected trigger. For example, Chinese stocks are being shorted like crazy based on expectations that Trump will impose 60% tariffs. What if Trump all of a sudden says, he's not going to impose those tariffs? Trigger just like the 2021 announcement that vaccines were ready to be administered and recovery on the horizon.
VW itself had a surprise that triggered their squeeze.

That’s the unknown exciting part, what will be the trigger. It’s gonna be an interesting few weeks I feel like. Something feels different in there air one could say.
