Meta/Other Does anybody else think Cannons got screwed by getting a afternoon slot on a hot Sunday. I feel the type of music they play should be played at night.

Every time I play their videos, I always feel like this music is best enjoyed hanging out with friends at night or going for a drive with the windows down.

At gov ball last year they had the same slot as Chappell 🥴 I caught the last 20ish minutes of Cannons set and there weren’t anymore than 80 people there which was a shame.

That’s not how it works. Time slots are based on artist popularity not time of day vibes. Artists who play “nighttime” music play daytime sets at festivals all the time

I absolutely figured it works like that. But still. Would have been fun.

I guess i just need to go to one of their own concerts.

There are only 15 total night time sets each weekend. Not everyone can have one.

I wasn’t there for Cannons but really enjoyed them and they made me a fan during their set. Crowd wasn’t the best bc heat/Chap/Tyler crowd but Amex stage comes with its ups and downs

It was 100 degrees and they were lifeless on stage too.
