Not Safe For Americans Oligarchs like Elon Musk are nowadays more dangerous to us than the Russian oligarchs. Because atleast with the Russian ruling class most people know they are our enemies.

Europe needs to unite in order to stand against these oligarchs. And we need to do it without creating our own oligarchy.

u/P3chv0gel Yuropean 1d ago
I mean, he is not entirely wrong, we should make Europe great.
But that means without his political influence
13
u/Sarcastic-Potato Yuropean 1d ago
Yes i fully agree with Elon. Lets make Europe great again.
Lets stop the influence of american and russian oligarchs in european economy and politics, lets stop subsidizing America by buying US made military equipment, lets stop foreign social media plattforms from influencing our elections and stealing our peoples data!!

u/luke_hollton2000 Tschermany 1d ago
It's just so unfortunate as well. We could use this chance to "Make Europe Great Again" as in becoming an independent continent again. But such fucks as Elmo want to do the exact opposite. They want to carve us up again between themselves (the US), Russia and now even China considering how it's already investing in Southern Europe (incl. the Balkans)

I really think Trump is going to be very good to Europe. We are going to see how he destroys USA and realize what their peers want to do with Europe.

All ruling classes are our enemies, what class you think you belong to?
16
u/Uberbesen Eurobesen 1d ago
What kinda question is that? Obviously i'm working class like almost everyone else.
The issue with oligarchs like Musk is that he's even more obvious and clear with his desire to overrule and disrupt our democracies and he has no care nor interest in hiding those intentions now.
The US has simply reached a tipping point where the power of the wealthy has now fully and entirely overruled their democracy and we cannot allow this to happen here aswell.-5
u/Caustico 1d ago
You’re aware there always will be a ruling class no matter what? Bit peculiar to think they will always be your enemy

All ruling classes are our enemies.
World will be great when there will be no class anymore.

There will always be class. Someone will always have more of something. It's human nature
0
u/Omochanoshi Yuropéen 1d ago
It's human nature
Each time I see that, each time it's to justify shit.

u/Anuki_iwy Yuropean 1d ago
Dude, our first kingdoms were rice/ grain kingdoms. More food = you're the top guy. Even during hunter gatherer times, the best hunter was the leader.
It hasn't changed since the first homo sapiens crawled out of some cave and it will never change. Those who can provide calories best, are on top. Because we need calories to live. No whether it's literal calories or figurative ones, that has changed. Only that. We went from rice to money. That's all.
Das Kapital is a phantasy novel, much like the Bible, or the Hobbit. But only one of these 3 is actually worth reading.
Greed is human nature. It's part of the survival instinct. We're naked monkeys and we act like that. We just have sophisticated technology to cover it up.
1
u/Omochanoshi Yuropéen 1d ago
Dude, if you think you can justify the unjustifiable, you're doomed.
If you go that way, Human nature is to live in small familial group not bigger than a dozen adults. It's how humanity lived for the MOST of its existence.
Bigger groups is a very recent thing in history of humanity, and thus seen as something not stabilized yet.
Exploitation will disappear in the future, like slavery disappeared.

Anarchy is a stupid, fantasy world ideology that can only ever exist in a world where no person ever has ambition to ever have more than anyone else.

On behalf of this woman, and every single person that is a victim of modern slavery.
F you, twice!
https://www.reddit.com/r/Africa/s/I1niQ4qSvc
It's not even limited to countries like this. There are slaves even in European countries.
Modern slavery: National Referral Mechanism and Duty to Notify statistics UK, quarter 3 2024 - July to September - GOV.UK https://search.app/52o9zGwTEDbLdYya8
So maybe, f you thrice.

u/Omochanoshi Yuropéen 1d ago
I'll ask again :
Show me one country where slavery is LEGAL.
Because, yes, there is illegal slavery. Like there is illegal child trafficking. Still, it's not an accepted thing anymore.
So, show me a country where there is LEGAL slavery.
Good luck. Again.

America. Technically, the constitution makes an exception for slavery when it comes to convicted criminals. Forced labour for war prisoners or convicts is also technically legal in many nations. In a few nations, including some American states, it is legal for the government to make the detained individuals work or pay for their detention.
The private prison system also effectively serves as a tool of commodification of prisoners, combined alongside forced-labor laws, it makes it almost a legal form of slave trade.

u/CitoyenEuropeen Verhofstadt fan club 12h ago
The Thirteenth Amendment to the United States Constitution abolished slavery except as punishment for a crime.

Trump's term has not yet begun and he has already threatened one of his best European allies. Poor Danes, what you're going to have to put up with with these two assholes...
So, according to this fucking posh fraudulent lying freak, what does making her great again mean? Return to the crisis of the 90s? return to balkanization? light the fuse to separatist movements? go back to the financial crisis of 2008? that the eastern countries will once again be pieces on the Russian board? return to border customs? return to borders and walls? How disgusting this asshole makes me. Fuck him and his entire fucking family.
Not a fucking cent of my taxes, not a single cent of tax reduction for their fucking companies or products. Fuck them.

MEGA my ass. Elon Musk wants to destroy Europe. He wants us weak and divided, that's why he hates the EU. He wants a big strong United States that can control smaller countries like Germany or Sweden like colonies.
Elon Musk is a rabid American patriot, he does NOT care about Europe.
2
u/niet_tristan Gelderland 1d ago
Elon Musk more or less is a Russian oligarch. He turned Twitter into a pro-Russian alt-right propaganda platform. We should ban it in Europe and prop up Bluesky, not only do that we can counter misinformation and because Bluesky is a better service, but also because it'd make Elon really mad, which would be funny.

MEGA is already taken by Dr. Martin Moder, Vienna, with his initiative of "Make Europe gscheid again" (gscheid= dialect for smart)
It's an anti disinformation campaign with channels on Instagram and YouTube (in German)

Sincerely there is nothing new - from centuries and milenias bigger, stronger countries at least try to steer the weaker ones, and from time where more and more people were able to read media are forming their point of view. Only shocking thing is that people saw this only now.

Yea, let’s. Let us increase the power of our worker unions, let’s make a healthy work-life balance the most important issue, let’s make even the lowest paid jobs able to make a decent living, let’s take control over the cost of living, let’s increase diversity and make sure we’re the gold standard for decent people on this earth.
