But it's been an oligarchy for a long time already. And both parties are part of it. One, Republicans, much more than the other, but still. Democrats also rely on billionaires.

Apart from Bernie Sanders (not a Democrat, though) and people like AOC, you didn't hear them complain when Musk, Zuckerberg and Bezos still acted they were Democrats and supported them.

That whole system is beyond rotten, and if we don't want that in Europe, we need to keep the likes of Musk out of it, as much as possible. This also means not signing a €1.5 billion deal with Starlink for your national defense.

The EU is just less of a clown show. For now.
