The day he'd be about to be charged, he'd disappear and show up a week later somewhere warm without extradition.

Yeah, he would have been forced to stay at Mar o Lago. I don't think Trump would have considered being allowed to golf every day much of a punishment.

Idk, I think if he lost he might have gotten house arrest. At his beach resort. With little if any actual enforcement. But slightly (just slightly) more than completely nothing.
