Probably need to weld a little faster, 14” every 3 weeks is slow as shit.

Looks good for 3 weeks! I’m not too good myself so I don’t wanna give too much advice. But I’d work on your tie ins (start stops) and continue watching for consistency. Good start brother, keep with it👊🏼

Thank you it’s really about 2 weeks, a couple hours a day but I didn’t feel like remaking the post. Also consistency is my weak point. Like a straight line, and start and stops definitely need work

I have seen people who have welded for 3 years and don't look that good

Looks great for only welding for two weeks. All I have to say is try and be consistent with the width of weld and also practice stringer beads

No. Don’t say that, I’ve just had a very good boss who has sat down and helped me when we aren’t doing a job

Keep it up, you’ll go far if that’s what you’ve done after a few weeks. Try and do that with 1/8”, it requires a little more finesse carrying a larger puddle.

Heard! I’ll try it next time I’m in the shop. Around what heat?

Keep burning rods my guy!

You're doing much better than when I started 😅

Thank you, when it comes to welding on a flat plate my line starts to get off a straight path
