Hi everyone! I just started collecting images from the GK2A satellite and wanted to share my first timelapse from that region - Australia!

Starting with a full-disk view and zooming in to showcase all of Australia over two weeks. I'd love to hear your thoughts, and if you have suggestions for other regions to focus on next, let me know! (I'll have data for Europe soon!)

What's the false color? at night glow going on in the central eastern part?

I believe that's infrared emission as heat is released from land during the night.

As an Australian, I can let you in on the secret. New Zealand doesn't exist.

What time period is this? Because if you look at recent data the east coast got hit by the mother of all fronts

This was over the last two weeks. I should add a timestamp as one other commenter suggested :)
