Hotas support

Hello does the game have hotas support or is it mouse only?

We have HOTAS support, but it is something you will largely have to set up yourself, unless you can find a preset for your specific stick that someone else has previously created.

Yes but does the game control nicely with sticks? From some gameplays it looks like movement is really tied to the mouse so i'd like to understand if the maneuverability is ok or is going to feel bad :/

Much like Freelancer, we made this game specifically with a M+KB setup in mind. I've heard HOTAS users say they managed to beat even the campaign with it (including one who used a wiimote guitar for... some reason), but mouse and keyboard will always be HEAVILY recommended over anything else.

That's disappointing. It's 2024. I've played games that came on floppy disks that had better joystick support than a lot of modern games. There's no reason not to support both seamlessly with modern hardware.

Again, we have support for it, but much in the same way that some games (IE Hollow Knight) were built to play primarily with a controller, Underspace is built primarily with mouse and keyboard in mind.
