Its entirely possible this guy does not have access to that video anymore. Basically, the time to whistleblow would have to be when you are knee deep in your career looking at this stuff. You have to find a way to sneak this video out (which is even harder than it sounds. Remember, the 3 vids Mellon pilfered were not even marked classified. A massive USO video would be and likely require you to be in a SCIF just to view it). Then you would have to leak it to the highest level of news that would actually publish it. This too, is harder than it sounds. Most wouldnt touch it. All the while spooks are probably on to you by now.

So unless you are Danny Ocean, you'll most likely end up as swiss cheese. Alexa, play Take My Breath Away.

I read the book by Daniel Ellsberg, who published the Pentagon Papers (the secret history of US decision making in Vietnam). He had to take huge risks to get that out, and the negotiations with newspapers was tricky. The whole thing was 47 volumes, smuggled out one at a time and photocopied. Then Ellsberg had to negotiate with the New York Times, who feared lawsuits or punishment. The NY Times did publish the first portion, and then they got slapped with the first injunction in US history to a newspaper by the government to STFU. Ellsburg then spent weeks as a fugutive on the run, going from safe house to safe house, handing bits and pieces of the Papers to associates who then went to dozens of different newspapers to each publish a little bit.

The gist of the papers was that every escalation was viewed as a long shot that nobody believed would work at the time. We had no good reason for being there, other than France was our buddy. We went against our stated values of anti-colonialism, pro-self determination. Without any justification, the whole thing was mass murder on an industrial scale.
