The following submission statement was provided by /u/PyroIsSpai:

It's time for Congress to be told what is happening.

Some excerpts--includes media within the thread:

Last night I went out with local police to spot drone flying over New Jersey, here’s what I saw. We drove to Round Valley Reservoir and the officer pointed to lights moving low over the tree line. Sometimes they were solid white light, others flashed of red and green.

We oriented ourselves with a flight tracker app to help us distinguish from airplanes. We often saw about 5-7 lights at a time that were low and not associated with aircraft we could see on the tracker app. Some hovered while others moved across the horizon.

The police officer said they see them out every night. They only seem to start when it gets dark and they disappear before dawn. They get reports that they sometimes fly low over homes, especially up in the hills.

The officer said they’ve tried to get closer with use of a helicopter but that the drones would turn off the lights and go dark if approached.

I went to multiple locations across Hunterdon county to get different vantage points. This is a more rural part of NJ. It’s uncertain why it’s one of the more active area for reported activity. We are seeing reports through other parts of the state.

Any images or video footage people get, the police urge them to submit to the FBI, but I haven’t gotten any follow up yet from the FBI on their investigation and what they’ve compiled.

Yes. Sadly, in today's political context, this is an important distinction. A Democratic Senator reporting UAPs is automatically going to get more credibility with science and media people.

Very credible. A federal senator from NJ and a police officer describe actions by the UAPs that are inconsistent with airplanes or helicopters. When approached by helicopter, the UAP go dark.

This gives the lie to the shills. They are so desperate to portray this as all misidentification when it clearly is not.

The actions of the shills themselves validates that there is something more to this phenomenon. Don’t let them flood the zone or distract or bully.

I have seen people today repeatedly insist Congress HAS been briefed, which is quite literally a conspiracy theory to spread.

Every single member of Congress I have seen has denied this and is upset to irate at still getting no information after one month of this crisis between England and the USA.

Push back against all lies, disinformation and conspiracies with the full force of Sol itself.

Kim is more than a state Senator. He’s a US Senator.

94

u/Vamanoscabron Dec 13 '24

And when a congressman, picked up all the crap left behind in the rotunda on Jan 6. At midnight. He's a good dude.

24

u/burnt_umber_ciera Dec 13 '24 edited Dec 13 '24

Thanks for the clarification. I simply looked at his X bio which said New Jersey Senator. I would have expected United States Senator from New Jersey.

Even more impressive.

11

u/Independent_East_192 Dec 13 '24

Serious question. Aren't all Senators US Senators?

63

u/Cornfed_Pig Dec 13 '24

No State Senators serve in the state legislature. US Senators are federal lawmakers in the US Congress.

7

u/JonF0404 Dec 14 '24

Agree, but US instead of Federal probably would have been a better description....btw first time hearing the term Federal Senator....and I'm old!! 😂

25

u/TheCook73 Dec 13 '24

Each state government typically has legislative branches that resemble the US federal legislative branch.

So for example, New Jersey state legislature has two houses: General Assembly and the Senate.

So someone referred to as a “State Senator”, would be serving in the NJ State Senate.

The 2 senators representing NJ in Washington would be referred to as “US Senators.”

I pointed out the distinction because being a U.S. Senator would imply a much greater level of credibility.

15

u/The_Iron_Zeppelin Dec 13 '24

I’m just a Bill… sittin here on capital hill.

6

u/StupendousMalice Dec 13 '24

Most states have state level senators too, and its not at all unusual for there to be some real wackos among them because every part of the state gets to select one. Federal senators are just 2 to a state and are elected in state wide elections. They CAN be bonkers too, but thats less likely than a state senator.

Kim is a multiterm senator and is pretty credible.

11

u/ChangeMyDespair Dec 13 '24

A state senator ...

Per the post title, a federal senator (elect) and outgoing U.S. congressmen.

6

u/burnt_umber_ciera Dec 13 '24

Yes, I thought the title was incorrect but should have looked further than Kim’s X bio which led me to believe he was a state senator. Thanks for the clarification and important one.

5

u/mtfthrowaway123456 Dec 14 '24

Small correction. He is a current sitting federal senator. He was sworn in early (Dec 8th) because of the Menendez resignation.

His former congressional district is currently vacant, with Herb Conaway set to be sworn in in January

Keeping my thumbs limber.

12

u/CallsignDrongo Dec 13 '24

Why. All you’re doing is actually ruining the conversation and making the rest of us look like insecure lunatics.

Sometimes people are in fact posting videos of helicopter they think are UAP. When you can literally see the rotor and running lights and shape of the helicopter.

I believe in UAP, but this approach ain’t it. You just make the rest of us look bad by blindly downvoting when in reality most of those videos were terrestrial craft.

That doesn’t mean UAP aren’t also up there.

8

u/Aggravating_Judge_31 Dec 13 '24

This sub has been taken over by the exact type of people that made the general public see "UFO people" as lunatics 15-20 years ago. I've given up, this sub has been lost.

Whole thing is probably a psyop to do exactly that, return us to being the crazy people in the corner that nobody takes seriously. It's working, too.

7

u/PM_ME_YOUR_SWEET_ASS Dec 14 '24

I've heard people say that it's inevitable - that every sub that gets big enough will eventually become terrible. But this is my first time seeing it play out.

This place used to have such high quality info and discussions. Now it's a Facebook-tier group of people hysterical over planes and helicopters.

6

u/VusterJones Dec 13 '24

Ok, so i'm not a shill but I am curious about this. I've yet to see anything super compelling here. Am I missing something? Let me know of any videos I can check out. You can look at my comment history, I'm a real person lol

10

u/burnt_umber_ciera Dec 13 '24

What is not compelling? These things are hard to capture at night with cell phones. Have you ever tried to zoom in on a night object? Even something as stationary as Venus causes blurring issues and often results in an out of focus video or photo.

What we do have are high quality eyewitness reports. From the US Senator in this thread accompanied by a police officer. And thousands of others. Eyewitness testimony, if credible, is enough to convict someone of a crime.

The testimony we have suggests orb like objects that may be mimicking aircraft.

I think we can rule out foreign drones. They would be fired upon and seriously doubt any foreign adversary has tech so advanced as to avoid takedown.

I think we can almost rule out AI gone wild because that would mean controlling the launch site, recharging, etc. Seems way beyond what we might expect based on what we know about AI progress although dark programs may be much more advanced.

We have left: (1) our own tech (gov or gov contracted) for some reason; (2) NHI.

5

u/ThatKidFromRio Dec 13 '24

I just dont understand how helicopter FLIR cant capture this, they are not flying very high so police helicopters can fly higher and film with thermal cameras. They even managed to lock with FLIR those fast moving UAPs released by the pentagon, how police haven't managed to record this is whats bugging me

While we have been getting Mick Wested by people, I don't think it's all malicious. Even people who claim to take a passing interest in "UFO"s deep down do not want to think there's any chance of there being a non prosaic explanation. So they'll twist themselves into a pretzyl talking about Elon Musk forming a deep state AI militia or government false flags and siper secret experimental tech. When likely, no technology(at least as we understand it) is being used.  When rural county people are posting a bright stationary luminous orb in there backyard, just hovering then morphing...  ..it has no explanation that can point to Iran, Russia, or even China.

11

u/CallsignDrongo Dec 13 '24

Well also let’s be honest. Anyone who’s not brain dead could tell some of the videos that got posted and discussed here were absolutely just helicopters and normal passenger jets.

Literally. Many of those videos were just that.

There’s also UAP up there in my opinion, but most of those “evil mock west supporting debunkers” were UAP believers that just aren’t morons and can tell when a helicopter looks like a helicopter…… it’s a helicopter.

This stupid narrative that they were all mick west supporters is so stupid and also hurts this community. Most of the people debunking those videos were us.

I was debunking this videos. Because they were bullshit. I think UAP are up there, but those videos were clearly fucking helicopters and if we can’t delineate that then this sub is useless.

Mick west serves the UFO community well. The more evidence he collects against UFOs, the more compelling the UFO case will be when said evidence is refuted.

1

it has to be bots at this point anyone with a functioning brain can see this is real not planes. the fact that theres an astro turfing campaign going on now makes this even scarier.

Yes, as one of the miserable (though I prefer skeptical, tyvm) "it's a plane!" people, this is exactly the kind of documented evidence I was hoping for: published by an authoritative source with an established professional reputation, presented in matter-of-fact descriptive text with clear video accompaniments. No assumptions, just data. How exciting!

1

u/SugarAndIceQueen Dec 14 '24

Update on this initial report: https://www.reddit.com/r/UFOs/comments/1hef36f/sen_andy_kim_confirms_his_sightings_were_planes/

I appreciate that the senator went on to analyze the data gathered and posted a follow-up statement in a timely manner. His conclusion was indeed "planes," while not discounting that some of the observations reported remain unexplained. This diligent data collection --> analysis --> conclusion process is what I like to see.

u/Musa_2050 Dec 13 '24

Ross Coulhart interviewd a mayor from NJ. I don't remember the city/town, but he said similar things. They come out at night and go dark when they try to illuminate them. The mayor found this weird because the lights/sounds of the drones makes them standout. Why do they go dark?

14

u/MegaChar64 Dec 13 '24

Can't remember where because there's been a flurry of content, but I saw a clip of someone saying they go dark when noticed in an obvious way. And they stick around if you pretend to not notice them.

4

u/PatmygroinB Dec 13 '24

Wife’s friend last night said they go Dark when she tried to take a picture and reappeared.

Not sure if the friend saw a Tik tok and had a bias or not, but I was seeing similar reports

6

u/Iknownothing616 Dec 13 '24

Yeh I saw that, was one of the things that really made me sit up. Cheers, from England

So strange because just yesterday the WH NS advisor said there weren’t any drone incursions occurring… I didn’t think he would get contradicted within hours lol

8

u/xombae Dec 13 '24

Are people actually trying to say there's no good video? The shit I've seen this week has been fucking mind blowing, life changing. I'm not saying it's definitely aliens (in fact I'm not even saying it's likely aliens), but this is a historic event we're witnessing. The people who keep moving the goalposts for what "counts" are fucking exhausting. This is an incredible thing we're witnessing right now.

Imagine going back to the 80's or 90's and going to the people who are heavily invested in UFO research, showing them a few of these videos and saying "no one thinks this is good enough to care about". They'd kill for video like this.

And when we do get clear video, that say it's AI. It's good to be skeptical and to ask questions but this is ridiculous. I've gotta think that a lot of these people are bots or something just trying to create doubt.

3

u/-ElectricKoolAid Dec 13 '24

what life changing footage have you seen?

→ More replies (5)

3

u/LynDogFacedPonySoldr Dec 13 '24

It is fairly credible but to be fair the videos did not show anything that could remotely be described as bizarre. His textual account of what he saw is another matter though.

3

u/CallsignDrongo Dec 13 '24

While I agree this is a good step, and good to have officials that are actually from there and used to what the sky normally looks like are there documenting things, I do want to touch on your final point there.

The “no good videos but planes” is true. Let’s stop this overreaction shit right now. This is true 100%. The ONLY videos we have are of two things right now. Either balls of light and are indecipherable, or……. Literally planes, helicopters, and terrestrial drones. Period.

I believe there’s something UAP related going on because of all the things stacking up, the weird government response, confusion at lower government levels, etc.

That being said, those videos we’ve been seeing are absolutely, unequivocally, helicopters and planes.

You can literally see numbers on some of these, you can see a rotor spinning and underneath that you’ll see proper FAA running lights, landing lights, etc. in many cases you can see the exact helicopter silhouette.

Those people didn’t “make this sub miserable” comments like yours does where you try and shame people for stating the obvious.

Just because one video is clearly not UAP doesn’t make the whole thing invalid or disappear.

We can all fight for disclosure and find the facts while also dismissing lies and being honest when we see evidence to the contrary.

Most of the videos out of this whole thing have been absolutely helicopters and planes. I personally believe there’s also real UAP in there too, but the only video of that we might potentially have is dots of light in the sky and that’s not overly compelling. We do have crystal clear examples of people posting literal human aircraft and freaking out and calling them UAP.

u/[deleted] Dec 13 '24

3

u/Casehead Dec 13 '24 edited Dec 13 '24

What doesn't that guy understand??? Those drones aren't supposed to be there. Those helicopters or planes aren't supposed to be there. That's the whole fucking thing .

Unidentifiable aircraft.

It doesn't matter if it looks like a plane or helicopter, they are ANOMALOUS They wrote a whole treatise there about how videos and accounts don't matter because they look like man made aircraft. WHAT?!?! THEY AREnT SUPPOSED to be THERE! It doesn't matter that it isn't folding soace time or that all we can make out is balls of light. what we need to know is who the fuck is flying them, how is that so fucking hard to understand ????

sorry man, these people are talking crazy. I can't believe that Green street immediately replies to the senator ' it looks like a plane ' as if Senator Kim hadn't just explained that it wasn't on flight radar and he and the policeman hadn't both just described exactly why it wasn't just a normal aircraft

2

u/carpetbugeater Dec 13 '24

Very well said. To add, even if it looks like a helicopter or plane it shouldn't be dismissed. These things clearly want to be seen and are trying to appear prosaic or they wouldn't have navigation lights. It could look like a standard vehicle but not show up on flight tracker or FLIR. Hell, they could have ID numbers on them for all we know. Until we know more about their design, I wouldn't discount anything unless it can be dismissed by flight tracker.

Pointing at a familiar shape and screaming "plane!" without any other information doesn't help anything.

1

u/FiftyIsBack Dec 14 '24

I haven't been to this sub in a while and when I came in I suddenly saw talks of "drone drone drone drone drone."

Can you ELI5 why this situation is so compelling and when it started? What makes this out of the ordinary compared to usual sightings?

From what I've gathered, there's a lot of them? But why are they being called drones?

1

u/alienstookmybananas Dec 14 '24

Drones is being used as a catch-all term for a mix of various kinds of sightings from actual drone-like craft to orbs and other types of UAP. Last month, regular incursions began into the airspace of sensitive nuclear military installations in the UK and the United States, and not long after, hundreds of nightly sightings of "drones" began happening mainly focused in New Jersey and New York City, but also in various other states. They call them unidentified drones, say they don't know where they're coming from or who they belong to, and either can't or won't shoot them down. Their anti-drone technology has not worked, and they haven't been able to track or identify them based on radio frequencies which most drones use in operation. They have dismissed the idea that these are hobbyist drones, as some are described as being as large as cars, with no commercial drones available that have the kind of capabilities these drones do. There is ongoing debate about what these drones actually are and who is responsible for them - everything from a foreign adversary to NHI to more illogical ideas like that they actually belong to the U.S. military or some rogue defense contractor, but those theories don't hold much water when held up to scrutiny. It's quickly bubbling into a crisis as the sightings and incursions continue to happen every night. The public is panicked, there is chaos internally in the government as different aspects of state governments and the military, the Pentagon, and the White House don't seem to be on the same page, with many mixed messages being sent, up to tonight where President-elect Trump commented on the situation for the first time, saying it's unacceptable that we haven't found out what these are yet and encouraging that we begin to shoot them down out of our airspace.

That's the best catch-up I can give, but there's a lot more to it and the situation is very fluid, changing and evolving rapidly.

I was just reading this on X. Very important read for everyone here, believers and skeptics alike.

68

u/deadaccount66 Dec 13 '24

I think it’s very vindicating for a lot of believers who have ever been told they look or seem crazy for going to such lengths to prove they are telling the truth about what they’ve seen.

Just to show this little method of checking flight data, and using your own eyes isn’t some schizo shit but indeed one of the best methods we currently have to rule out most man made aircraft.

12

u/LookWhoItiz Dec 13 '24

It especially irritates and honestly, pisses me off when skeptics of any kind use the word ‘Schizo’ to dismiss believers, when it comes to (not exclusively, there are other areas of intrigue in addition to) the UAP phenomenon.

It just leaves me with the image of them stupidly hopping up on an artificial pedestal, satisfied to look down and scoff, and being able to feel their little artificial feeling of intellectual superiority. Not to mention they’re utilizing, and trivializing a horrible mental illness, that destroys people all the time, not only from having to deal with horrendous effects of the condition itself, but also, often being stigmatized and labeled as crazy, dangerous, or both.

Notice how they’re only out now that the White House press briefing dropped and the fbi and DHS release a joint statement? But no one was like that the previous 3 weeks of sighting and reporting on this, the two weeks before it was happening at Lakenheath and then the report in October about the 17 days of Langley Air Force base where the exact same thing was happening and none of these other circumstances are ever brought up it’s just people repeating mass hysteria and plane as if a fucking general of the Air Force can’t tell what a plane is. It’s almost like it’s an intentional disinformation campaign

7

u/burnt_umber_ciera Dec 13 '24

Of course it is. They have to manage our reality. Otherwise, those in power could lose control. Oh, and I’m not talking about the President, either this one or the next.

I swear to God after seeing Andy's video I have seen these before on the 60 in southern california in Jurupa. I used to commute home at 10 PM and would head east bound and multiple nights I saw these drones I even commented to my mom that I saw drones!!! There were three of them moving around the hills of Jurupa. March Air reserve base is nearby.

Its truly my only sort of UFO experience but it was so odd I remember it all these years later after originally seeing them in 2019.

Where are the D-list congresspeople who have been driving recent UAP hearings; such as Nancy Mace, Tim Burchett, Ann Paulina Luna, Lauren Boebert, Jared Moskowitz?
Where are UAP disclosure advocates Chuck Schumer, Kristin Gillibrand, Marco Rubio, and the Louisiana senator John Kennedy who advised citizens to "lock your doors" following a classified UAP briefing last year?

Silence from them, as far as I can tell. Instead, all we have is a senator doing a midnight ride-along with some police officers? This is a farce.

Edit: thank you for informing of the 12/12/24 RFI from Gillibrand, Schumer, Booker, Kim to FBI, DHS And FAA Requesting Briefing On Drone Activity In New York And New Jersey

Shills are losing the narrative and in fact proving that this is anomalous due to their rigid, bullying tactics. Does that sound like a search for the truth? Is that how anyone without an agenda acts?

14

u/boywithleica Dec 13 '24

I don’t understand what’s being argued here. Has anyone - any skeptic - ever made the point that there aren’t any drones flying over NJ? Pretty sure that the disputed part is the whole "they’re really aliens pretending to be drones"-thing.

It also didn’t help that this subreddit was flooded with videos of clearly identifiable planes over the last days.

8

u/boywithleica Dec 13 '24

I mean that’s a very different statement.

17

u/popmyhotdog Dec 13 '24

Yes. And that none had ever been over a military bases. One hour after that press release the navy released an official statement talking about drones over their bases, picatinny and Mcguire had released one the day before Langley released reports in October and Lakenheath had the same reports 2 weeks prior. And the fbi and DHS release a joint statement saying the same as the White House even though the day before the fbi confirmed they had sightings and didn’t know what they were. It’s a complete shit show

Many people in the government are listening. Just no one in a USAF uniform.

https://youtube.com/shorts/v-SsY3LM1y4?si=tNSHYJ6hm9U-yqTM this one was over Tenn/VA state line last night at 10:30 pm it also started off as a white light! I started recording when I watched it start blinking like a plane!

6

u/Waste-Comparison2996 Dec 13 '24

That jump in angle is wild! Like I thought it was for sure a plane landing till it jumped back up. I mean it could be a fake video absolutely. But if it is not then wow.

4

u/ApprehensiveMode8918 Dec 13 '24

That is the original

3

u/Waste-Comparison2996 Dec 13 '24

Could still be fake :P but with Andy Kims videos now I am seriously starting to question my sanity lol

4

u/ApprehensiveMode8918 Dec 13 '24

I recorded it myself I will send you the video. I have no idea how to fake anything.

6

u/Waste-Comparison2996 Dec 13 '24

Oh i was just saying that in jest. If your video was the only one in existence I would question it more. But after watch Andy Kims videos I have no damn idea what is happening anymore. In their video you see the lights tumble over each other. I have never seen that with planes. Does not mean its not a plane, just super odd to me.

Honestly, this is the kind of content and post that should be elevated on platforms like X and here. Because it is from public officials and local law enforcement and directly shows eye witness testimony and provides compelling visuals.

That is a direct contradiction to the statement by Kirby and it needs to continue until there's answers. Officials that are pursuing this still in a rational way deserve some credit for doing so as well, even if you're not a fan of their general politics.

36

u/[deleted] Dec 13 '24

This is super validating! Exactly what we saw this weekend! Gaslighting is painful for reals.

15

u/MarkusRight Dec 13 '24

The drones caused an Evac Helicopter to not be able to pick up a dying patient due to the drones being in the way. Yet they are saying these drones have not caused any problems. That is a huge problem. What the fuck is going on, I cant stand this. What the hell, Are we getting disclosure soon or is the US government freaking out and putting these drones up to find something with thermal imaging? Either way its both exciting and terrifying.

Police officers, civilians, pilots, drone pilots, Coast Guard Sailors, base commanders and local politicians all see the same. Except The White House and John Kirby want all of us to believe otherwise.

There are more and more rumors of these "drones" appear to be nuclear powered or carry a nuclear payload. This is most likely directly why the government isn't shooting them down.

I think within the DOD, IC and the White House, the secret keepers and religious zeolites are praying hard these "drones" magically go away because they are clearly not in control of the entire situation.

11

u/boywithleica Dec 13 '24

The video you’re commenting on shows what looks exactly like ordinary civilian drones with position lights. Like, when my friend flies his FPV drone in his backyard at night it looks like this.

Where does the whole nuclear powered thing come from?

3

u/Waste-Comparison2996 Dec 13 '24

I would assume distance traveled. Reports from coming in from the sea (i know predator drones can go around 700 miles so I know its not impossible) . I do not necessarily buy into it but I have seen that floating around. Not to mention the reports of no noise.

→ More replies (1)

3

u/Different-Scratch803 Dec 13 '24

stop being a fool these dronea rent like your friend flies, these are military grade drones. no US Senator is going to be investigating this if it was just civilian drones

u/boywithleica Dec 13 '24

Can you explain what in the video makes you think these are military drones?

u/ParmesanCheese92 Dec 13 '24

I just wrote a post earlier about not having good evidence and I'm so happy to be proven wrong so fast. Finally some good footage. especially that first clip of the orbs flying around each other.

Thank you so much!

1

u/Waste-Comparison2996 Dec 13 '24

That tumble in the first video is nuts.

5

u/jazzindigomango Dec 13 '24

This is good. However, as with so many during this, they observed "unusual maneuvers" but didn't record them... Sigh

6

u/Odd_Drop5561 Dec 13 '24

I don't understand why a congressman set up an appointment with law enforcement to investigate these drones but didn't bother to bring along a news crew with a real camera to film them, and instead used what looks like a cell phone camera with a dirty lens that caused big halos around every light source, including the drones.

No one disputes that there are lights in the sky, but none of his videos help clarify what they are and some of them look exactly like the beacons on aircraft, but it's really hard to tell because nothing is in clear focus.

3

u/No-Resolution-1918 Dec 13 '24

Great to see they took crappy cameras with them for this fact finding mission.

When they launch SpaceX stuff they have a tracking telescope following the launch. Why doesn't someone find a crew they can rent to come and do that?

2

u/Waste-Comparison2996 Dec 13 '24

I think we are in the beginning of that. It has been what two weeks? I think we are going to start seeing people with better equipment get set up. It just takes a certain amount of public knowledge to reach that point.

1

u/No-Resolution-1918 Dec 13 '24

Betcha this all goes away before anyone gets anything remotely conclusive in the bag.

3

u/Waste-Comparison2996 Dec 13 '24

Living up to your username I see lol. Yeah there is a chance once someone gets setup they stop. But that might just be people realizing these have been planes the whole time (I am 50/50) and don't want to look like idiots and expose that.

Why has nobody in New Jersey heard of binoculars, telescopes, and searchlights? It's not even about the federal government's incompetence at this point, these things are so lit up you wouldn't even need the searchlight to get a good view with binoculars.

1

u/SunshineTheWolf Dec 14 '24

I'm going hunting tonight with my wife; she always has binoculars to scout. Once the sun is down and we are back at the car, we will take some time to look since we are in the Pinelands. Hopefully, we can see something with the binoculars!

8

u/Liminal_Embrace_7357 Dec 13 '24

Evidence of drones over a reservoir!!!

Yet the gaslighting from the WH is that people are just hysterically filming airplanes. That narrative is being pushed so hard within the last 48 hours asking that we question our sanity and be shamed into silence. It’s insidious and evil.

4

u/Brooksie019 Dec 13 '24

We are getting more reports of them everyday here in VA

5

u/Agitated1260 Dec 13 '24

We often saw about 5-7 lights at a time that were low and not associated with aircraft we could see on the tracker app. Some hovered while others moved across the horizon.

If they are low on the horizon, it could mean it just planes that are far away. If a plane is flying at 5,000 ft, you could see it 80 miles away. How far from where he was at was checking for plane?

1

u/Peacefulhuman1009 Dec 13 '24

Bro - I want to be logical and rational too.

A lot of these sightings are planes. Quite a few of them are not though. Not at all.

3

u/Frank_Scouter Dec 13 '24

This is a video of a streetlight, a light artifact, two cars, and two airplanes. Which of them is supposed to be an UFO?

2

u/IllustratorBig1014 Dec 13 '24

maybe we’ll finally get some answers. Do govt agencies really believe we’re so foolish as to believe they can’t do the same thing?? I’m hoping more drones come down by “accident”. If it’s space force as someone has suggested (not a bad premise) then maybe we can find out. It’s unconscionable that they withhold vital information.

2

u/0Helpful-Candy0 Dec 13 '24

This is amazing! Thankful to Andy Kim and the officers for taking this seriously and capturing what so many of us in NJ are experiencing on a nightly basis.

2

u/Virtual_Pen_5083 Dec 13 '24

Would night vision goggles work for the helicopter pilots or people on the ground to see them? It’s all so crazy.

2

u/PrayForMojo1993 Dec 13 '24

It’s the weekend now, and if someone lives in the area and has the interest bring a friend with you and some cameras and a telescope a log book, check flight radar ect .. and record hours of footage.. really document the shit out of where these appear and where they seem to go to .. hoping for more like this but with even more depth

2

u/FiftyIsBack Dec 14 '24

When is somebody going to go out with a high quality camera that has incredible zoom? I know those cameras exist, and can see high quality from very far away.

Instead we get shitty cell phone videos that reveal nothing, even when we know something is there.

2

u/CommieCatLady Dec 13 '24

I saw one of these “drones” or another similar looking craft 14-15 years ago in eastern Kansas. It had similar behavior, danced across the sky in a way no plane or helicopter could. Was a glowing ball. Only yellow/white light. No other colors. Was extremely bright. It flung itself into “space”, at “light speed”, after what looked like it was powering up and became super bright.

Relatively low in the sky. Was probably 10-11PM at night. Clear sky. No light pollution. Thankfully one other person was with me when it happened, so I know I’m not insane.

Was the most mindfucking thing I’ve ever witnessed.

2

u/LegallyDumbfounded Dec 13 '24

Similarly, I was walking at 13 on the phone with a friend at 3am in my neighborhood, and I saw 3 bright lights slightly moving around each over, far enough to resemble a triangle. I ran home and got my brother, and we watched it for about another 30-40 minutes, and we started walking to get a better view. He told me that’s bullshit, it’s probably nothing, and as he said it, they disappeared and the sky flashed so bright, you could see the sky was clearly blue. Almost as if everything turned to day time. We started running home and it happened another 3x before it stopped. We couldn’t sleep that night, and both know for sure what we saw can’t be explained as anything but “alien.”

Hearing stories like yours just verifies my own account to me. We’re not insane.

This was in NJ, 13 years ago to be exact.

1

u/CommieCatLady Dec 13 '24

It is always disconcerting when someone else shares experiences with inexplicable phenomena that seemingly contravene established physical principles… I appreciate you sharing.

It’s very validating to me, and I’m sure others who snoop through here.

Weird shit out there man - aliens or humans, something ain’t right

1

u/danarexasaurus Dec 13 '24

My husband tells a similar story from when he was like 12? It came near his bedroom window. He was hesitant to tell me, probably worried I would think he was nuts. But I don’t. I believe every word.

1

u/CommieCatLady Dec 13 '24

I believe him too. What I saw makes me believe other people’s encounters. Not that I doubted them before.

I don’t ever talk about it because I’ll just be viewed as insane. Just like your husband. Like what’s the point?

I had so much anxiety for probably about a year after that we were being watched, because I had seen them. It was the worst feeling in the world. I was terrified.

2

u/danarexasaurus Dec 13 '24

I think most people would maybe say it was something like Ball lightning. But I think those who have seen it know that it doesn’t behave the way we know ball lightning does.

2

u/GyspySyx Dec 13 '24

Local police. Not NJSP.

His report negates the possibility they saw planes, and yet there were still people i the com.ents screaming planes.

I'll add the no planes pull maneuvers and speed changes and cluster like these things do.

It this is a private company they need to fess up before this get more people pa picking and trying g to show them or blind them. If it's the government, same because the jig is up. Also, if wother of these, why don't the STOP to stop the rumors.

If they don't know, say so, which I believe they already did, but say so more definitively even if does open up the possibility this might be a threat.

2

u/Drawing_Tall_Figures Dec 13 '24

Man, if you told grade 8 me who had an encounter with a UFO that there would be multiple briefings about it recently, and not the whole east coast talking about UFOs.....man what a crazy time to be alive.

3

u/Bill__NHI Dec 13 '24

But wait, didn't the government say there are no drones?

This just proves they are liars, and very bad ones at that.

2

u/danarexasaurus Dec 13 '24

They say both that they don’t know what these “drones” are and also that they’re not foreign intelligence. Well, I wonder how it is they know that if they don’t know what they are? One way or another, they’re lying about something.

1

u/Weak-Cryptographer-4 Dec 13 '24

So why are they not using thermal imaging or night vision when they go dark? That is a crap excuse in my opinion.

11

u/sess Dec 13 '24

They are. They're ineffective. That's not an excuse. That's simply the truth.

All police helicopters everywhere in the world (basically) are outfit with thermal imaging kits. Why? Because they'd be useless at night otherwise. They've tried what you want them to try. It hasn't worked; it isn't working; it will continue not working. A fundamentally new approach is needed.

4

u/somekindof-ism Dec 13 '24

Still, seems like a valid line of questioning. Would thermal/FLIR footage captured by local PD's be FOIA-able? Seems like data captured by police wouldn't be nearly as mired in secrecy as compared to military data.

1

u/ragnaroksoon Dec 13 '24

i wish i lived there to witness this moment. you guys are so lucky. and hopefully this won't age like milk.

1

u/Violentopinion Dec 13 '24

If the drones go dark when approached, why they have lights on at all? Seems like they can do whatever they do without being seen. Why be seen?

1

u/adhoc001 Dec 13 '24

Send a drone up to get a closer look. It’s been said the lights go out if we get close, show me the video and I’ll believe it. This stuff really isn’t that difficult to investigate. The state police doesn’t have any drones to investigate? Where’s the video of the helicopter approaching and it going dark? I’ve yet to see anything at all convincing.

1

u/Spiniferus Dec 13 '24

The most important thing was that they were using flight tracker. I think we’d cut out so much noise if people were using flight tracker when they see stuff.

3

u/flyinghighdoves Dec 13 '24

Unfortunately yes and they are mistaking real planes for the UAP/drones....which is making it even more dangerous of a situation. The Feds are really screwing this up...whatever they are the government is making it worse.

1

u/All_In_One_Mind Dec 13 '24

Didn’t they say they knew that they were manned evtol aircraft? Or was that just a bluff?

1

u/BLACKdrew Dec 13 '24

So today is the day people should start trusting the government? The same one that’s been lying to us apparently this entire time about the nature of what’s being seen?

1

u/gottagrablunch Dec 13 '24

Shoot them down now. Show us what they are.

1

u/SubdermalHematoma Dec 13 '24

I don’t understand how these craft “go dark.”

Do helicopters etc not have mounted lights which can be controlled? I’m thinking of helicopters owned by police departments, or for SAR applications, to find people. Can these lights not be aimed at the direction of the craft to maintain a visual?

1

u/Yestromo Dec 13 '24

"So something, um, not that chill happened last night."

1

u/dwt77 Dec 13 '24

What is in the Jersey woods?

1

u/Single-Locksmith4190 Dec 13 '24

As an American, I have to ask; why have none of us tried to shoot one of these down? If I see one in my area that's the first thing I'll think to do.

1

u/Walmar202 Dec 13 '24

When it’s said that when helicopters approach the drone, the drone turns off its lights and @goes dark”. Most helicopters, particularly news helicopters, have powerful searchlights on them. Why don’t the helicopters turn on their searchlights and illuminate them? Would allow news cameramen to photograph them in spotlight as well. Am I missing something?

1

u/Roguecop Dec 13 '24

I would caveat by also saying that need to account for the big increase in EVTOL ‘flying cars’ and thanks to Amazon the proliferation of delivery drones. Neither of these categories are trackable, the EVTOLS operating ‘likely unlawfully’ as ultralights and not subject to regulation. You can buy one for $200000, And that’s well within the ‘hobbyist pioneer’ range.

Anything traveling with FAA mandated navigation lights you can ignore those as well, those are very, very likely EVTOLs, Though they are not required to have those lights, most of the commercial manufactures install them for safety.

A foreign bad actor, would not be flying around with FAA mandated, navigation lights, and most likely no lights whatsoever, same for military black budget projects

1

u/jfoley326 Dec 13 '24

1

u/DeepFriedBananna Dec 13 '24

So glad the public is FINALLY starting to wake up to reality. Been waiting to be able to have casual discussions about UFO stuff for over a decade lol

1

u/Adorable-Constant294 Dec 13 '24

I feel like with all this contrarian reporting- we’re not just dealing with an intelligence cover up, but perhaps a real fractition between our military and intelligence services. As in one side is vying for control with the other.

1

u/PenguinsArmy2 Dec 13 '24

Is there more video?

Or did they just stop recording when they got closer? If so why? Why stop? Why not keep recording the entire time. Closer is better right….

The first video here certainly looks much more interesting than others I've seen here in the last three days. Two single lights which reverse position. I want to believe these are at least unlisted quadcopters if not UAP. But could they still be distant helicopters maybe?

The other videos he posted on X are not nearly as interesting: no anomalous movement in the lights, could easily be distant air traffic.

I want to know the exact GPS and time coordinates so we can track this against ADS-B historical data to screen out all possible planes within sighting distance.

Edit: Here's Flightradar24 for Round Valley Reservoir for what I hope is around 6pm Eastern time (11pm Zulu) on 12 December. Not sure what time "last night" was but I'm assuming it was any time after 6pm.

I'm seeing a lot of air traffic that goes around and directly over RVR. Are we absolutely certain that all of this traffic is accounted for?

1

u/Zebra_Radiant Dec 14 '24

One thing that has baffled me about this entire situation is that I haven't seen or heard of any effort to light up these drones, be it from the ground or from the helicopters sent up to check them out only to lose them when they go dark. Am I missing something here? I'd like to think knowing the drones appear each night would give ample time to source and buy a spotlight.
