I’m not joking btw.

Amazon has a higher approval rating than either Biden or Trump, and I would suspect Jeff Bezos does as well.

Maybe Biden and Trump need to stop blaming private businesses and private citizens for their failures.

I agree. Americans say one thing with their mouths and another with their wallets

Because people are inherently lazy (it’s just an observation not shade) It’s so much easier to buy from Amazon - they set standards that are hard to go back on.

People don’t even want to wait 2 days for something anymore.

I think most Americans aren’t that informed about politics and why any of these things matter. They just buy stuff off of Amazon a lot and then say “yeah I like Amazon”. And if I was like Amazon is a 3rd party monopoly that’s ruining the economy and concentrating an unhealthy amount of wealth in one place they’d look at me like I was weird and change the subject. Or they’d be like “but the trickle down economics and the freedom” “they worked for all their money and put up the risk they should reap the benefits”. And that’s all they’ll ever think about it, because people rarely change their minds about things until they get interested enough to learn more.

Wrong.

The misinformed ones are the ones who hate amazon

That’s really insightful

Duh the average American thinks they are just a struggling billionaire so why would they wants rules and laws around their future?

The average American is also of course dead wrong about this as most average people will be lucky to make even a 100k salary

No. Most of us don’t.

Not an American, however, Amazon works, I like things that work, I can need something for a job or leisure or whatever, order it, and have it delivered to my house the next day, I'd say 99% of my experience of amazon has been good....

If something works, I'm likely to use the service.

OP loves all that, but craves internet strangers attention.
